I could make a video or something to help you. A quick fix might be that when you're attacking, you should go for the ones that have coins piled up and don't leave until you beat all of their territories. Of course, you can't at first see whether they have gold laying about, so if they don't, leave it at 1 attack, if they do, try to finish all of them. You can easily get 70+ gold from 1 person. (Assuming he has at least 3 territories.)
^ your getting 70 per 3? I only get about 20-25 per 3 territories. Maybe I need to level more? Although I'm level 17.
That was the most I've ever gotten. I average at ~50. I'm not yet sure exactly how the attacking/looting systems work.
I think you get more good based on how many medals you pick up, so play strategically! I get about 20-25 coins on average, but I'm not sure if the coins you pick up are counted...
This is one of the many things we're working on: our "shield" system needs to be improved. By "shield" we mean the impossibility to be attacked when you've been raided. This is supposed to last a few hours. It's a mechanic that surely sounds familiar for a lot of gamers ^^ Some precisions: each circle that can be conquered on each territory gives one coin per hour. The maximum amount of coins that can be stacked up on a circle is five. So be sure to return to play frequently to grab them before being raided! If looted, you have the "Revenge" option available on the Debrief menu (you can access it by tapping the book icon on the lower-left screen corner).
Finally jacked three territories for 60 gold! Balance is needed, lots of people are using rollers which are fine but they put them in the middle that auto destroy capture point heroes. You can't destroy the rollers because they are in the next screen so your basically screwed lol. Kinda cheap. The tanks are tricky but if you strategize you can totally own them. Anything that requires strategy is awesome. The bowling rollers don't require anything. You can stick them far away enough so that it keeps rolling into the middle of the capture point. Auto kills your hero ( since capture hero stays stuck to middle ) and if there's water geisers as well it gets bad. Don't mind the geisers but the fact that you can't move on far enough to destroy the roller ball your stuck. What do you all think?
You know, I'm not sure if it was intended but I actually kind of like it. Yeah it kind of sucks, but if it's not impossible to beat, it's fair game, I think. The joy of beating a map like that is fun too. haha
Yep, the off-screen units are damn annoying to beat, that includes the cannons (firing into circle), the long range turrets, the heli thingies. Don't use the chaingun merc there, use triangle or whatever. Tanks are fine, vannons as well. Frankly I'm still (at lvl 30) having trouble winning some of the lvl4 territories, even empty (just the troops), or just some mines/geysers, they can be damn hard, especially if some huge group turns elite. Also, sometimes you can attack a territory with piles of gold laying around, and in-game get 0, might be a caching issue? Overall seems like a cool game, wonder what the boss units will be like.. Huge robots? multi-stage-installations?
Hidden Achievements cmon guys, isn't anybody gonna share on how to achieve the hidden achievements? (Attack) Boss, I stepped on something - step on several bombs| Strike! - ? Difficult Start - ? (Defense) Ghandi? / Hold up - Successfully / Failed to defend base(I don't know which is which because someone just attacked me and the meter went up) United Colors - ? (Statistics) Made in France - ?(Maybe quit on a mission?) Strategic Reply - ?
Man, you guys are lucky u get to play the game. Still waiting for the fix . Can't wait till it comes out!
Suggestion: a button for rejoining split-up units. For some reason I find it really hard to pinch them back together....
Where's the Tactile Wars merchandise? I need little yellow army pigments defending my cubicle at work! The special characters are a must! #
These achievements are hidden for fun but a few hints wouldn't hurt, right? Well, basically, let's say that you'll unlock them by "just" playing the game. As time goes by, your global progression will increment various counters until that unlocks the dedicated achievements. With a little attention, you should see what is required. For example "United Colors" is unlocked by Spoiler attacking every colors at least once . Others are not that straightforward, though. And that was made on purpose! About "Made in France" - ?(Maybe quit on a mission?)" Ha ha! Good one ^^ To know what this one is, Spoiler you should probably think in terms of Strategic Reply . Two tips: - Just tap on one group an then swipe to point to the other. They automatically join - Even better: just tap both squads in the same time. Here again, they'll automatically join each other
I paused the game to talk to someone and a few minutes later it asked "Are you asleep?" and then kicked me out XD It's a good way to alert people that they have been idle
Social Media It would be great though if someone actually started a Social Media Group. It can be segregated by one's language preferences, so that someone would just PIN a post about how to achieve specific goals. I would do it, but I don't have any friends who are interested to join the group on my account.
Like a forum? I think Ankama should set-up their own Tactile Wars Forum instead of using Touch Arcade's.
I think the whole 'turret and helibirds after a strategic point' combo is getting out of hand. People are purposely using level 1 territories just because it works the best there.
