Hey Aitherios, just a question: what device and OS are you on? I'm asking because mine isn't working.
I, like others, can't get passed the tutorial part where you stockpile mines. I have joined the Red army, a I am using an iPhone 5 (not iPhone 5S) and am on the most recent OS (8.4.1 I think?) any support is appreciated. Thanks a ton! -Orionis
Hm. Could it be people in red army? I'm in red army too, and having the same problem. Anyone else in red army with this problem? Or could it be 8.4?
Perhaps it does have to do with the Red army. Has anyone else had any luck with it? I hope this can get resolved. In the amount of gameplay is was able to do, it was quite enjoyable. -Orionis
I tried 3 times; Here are the details.. First time.. I finished tutorial, and made it to level 2. User Name was CrazyEyez.. I then linked the game to FB (and received the "Inventory" reward and 20 gold). Then I closed the game in a normal process. Next, I restarted the game as normal, and it validated my linked account by showing my FB icon in the top right of the slash screen in the game.. I let the game boot up to confirm everything is good, then closed out of the game.. Then I deleted the game from my device and re-downloaded it from the app store.. At startup, with fresh install, the game did not recongize my past account, and I was forced to complete tutorial and create a new username and connect the the same FB account. All 3 times I followed this same process. Second username was CoreyWolfe, and my current username is DarkMage... My device is iPad MINI non-retina.. If you have any specific question, I am happy to answer.. PS: what is MP? Thank you..
It's not your device at least. Working for me without crashes on iPad mini 1. Yellow team and ios 8.02 I believe (definitely not the newest one). So the iOS could be the problem
So I tried deleting and re getting the game. Now, when I try to enter a user name, it says it fails to connect. So, now I can't even get past the first part of the tutorial.
Yes having SAME stockpile mines problem. I'm thinking it might have to do with OS 8? Just a thought. IK a couple people who are on 7.8-9 and are playing right now.
I play on my iPhone 5s, iOS 8.4.1. My game was having issues too about 2 hours ago, but it finally seems to let me on now. My game is Purple, if that helps figure anything out. MP = message privé, they mean private message, or PM in English. They want you to PM them details about your issues with the game.
I was told to PM as well, but the damn system is BROKEN for me. As soon as I press submit to create the support account, it says not valid in French for 10 seconds then takes me to a page that says Oops! Page no longer exists. Have tried 3 times now. Exact same thing.
Opinion Wavering... Initially, I thought Ankama was great, very innovative games, and very good about responding and updating the community. Now it's starting to seem like it only cares about the majority and the minority is too small for them to care. They haven't responded to them 5-7 people who are talking about these bugs for over 5 hours and we have been told to PM. But the PM system is BROKEN. Obviously they only use PM when they are out of ideas as we have seen here. Could be a way for them to get the minority out of their hair? All I can say is they better be working to fix this.
5 hours is NOTHING in bug time. I had to move a link on a web app down an inch the other day, took 7 hours. And God help the developer if they don't know what the issue is going in, you can lose days just identifying the problem.
To be honest? I love the idea of Tactile Wars, and I'm not going to give up on it. Ankama, take all the time you need. I'm going to keep trying it, see if it decides to work.
