Oh right, I had just edited the first post to have updated screen shots but here they are also. They aren't drastically different but the character screen has a better font and I did a bit of tweaking to the background colors to make them look better. Right now the game is still waiting for review. I wonder, if is it better to have it released on certain days of the week. For example, if Apple gives it the good to go on Tuesday is it worth holding it back from the app store until Thursday?
Generally it is better to have It on thursday but following the time .i mean thursday in nz comes before thursday in usa by a day..and if there is any holiday lile easter u have to show it before it bec sales go crazy at holidays
release it asap. Mostly, people can only be bothered with big, hyped games on thursdays.... on any other day of the week, however, people will probably actually care because they aren't overwhelmed.... BTW, i suggest putting the game in ur sig and then becoming more active on other parts of the forum (not advertising ur game but people will see it in ur sig
Those are some good points. If it is reviewed before Easter I will definitely let it out before then. But I guess that is unlikely since it is still waiting for review right now. That is an interesting point about not having it released on Thursday to avoid competing with bigger games. I probably will just let it be released asap.
The lite version is now in review at Apple as of this mourning. Though the full version is still waiting. I am a bit surprised. I thought they would have a long weekend for Easter. Also, I figured I might as well give another bit of a preview of one of the classes in the game. So here is the champion. The champion is a reasonably versatile class, have choices of both ranged and melee attacks as well as several team buffing skills once he reaches higher levels. He is also rather durable, having high health and high armor values, but his stronger attacks tend to have a somewhat high stamina cost compared to their damage. One of the starting parties contains a champion but you can also recruit champions at a few places later on. The champion's daring strike lets him damage everyone in a three square line. It is also rather strong: If a champion has points to his rally shout skill he can increase his and party member's ranged armor significantly:
Well, hopefully it makes it through on the first submission. I am guessing if it does it will be out sometime next week.
Good News! Tactical Warrior and Tactical Warrior are both now approved and ready for sale! They should be available on iTunes within 24 hours. In other news I thought I would give a bit of a teaser on another one of the classes, so I will give a bit of an overview of the Alchemist: The Alchemist is a tricky warrior who focuses on potion tossing attacks. His potion attacks tend to have a modest amount of range and usually affect warriors in a 3 by 3 area. The potions have various effects like poison, stunning or even just damage and tend to be fairly powerful considering their moderate stamina cost. His health, however, is somewhat low and his ranged armor is terrible. His poison potion poisons everyone in a 3 by 3 area. It really pays off against tougher enemies who can last a long time: His jug blast deals strong damage to a large area but he can't throw it far enough to escape the blast:
Er dude, read the thread. We're just waiting for it to be available on the App Store now - Jamvert has done everything he can!
