Now # 57 in roleplaying , #89 in strategy.. Hope it climbs more and more!

Now also it is appearing at whats popular on appshopper!

Advice 1:If it keeps climbing the charts..extend the the sale one or two days till it climbs the games chart not the subcategery and maybe top paid! .. Then increase price ..when you increase the price you will have the highest position you could have got which means the maximum exposure..new buyers will find the game at high chart and some ofcourse will buy them for the higher price...

Advice 2: keep always alternating prices from time to time esp when sales are low. Especially before holidays and if not then usual holiday thursday.. When you alternate prices..you get exposed to hell alot of sites and apps which tracks in change in price and postion like appshpper,148 , any app tracking App..this gets you aloooooot of exposure

GOOD LUCK ON this AWESOME GAME

Excellent, this sale has gone well. It was a really good idea Rivozzz :) It looks like it is #27 in RPGs now in the US! I am going to extend it's sale for 2 more days.

Hopefully the update will be approved by the time the sale is done. The icon and the screenshots are a bit nicer in the update.

I haven't timed it, but the lite probably has about 1/8 the number of battles the full version has or perhaps a bit less, to give a bit of perspective.

Just had to say that I'm really digging this game! I just wanted something to get me prepped for Final Fantasy Tactics, and with no SRPG experience under my belt, a lot of TA-ers led me to this, and now I can see why.

I was quite put off by the simple graphics, but after trying a few battles of the lite version AND especially with the game going on sale, I knew I had to get the full.

I'd read this comment in a review or two, but I really enjoy how fast-paced the gameplay is. Surprisingly, I got used to the graphics pretty quickly, and it kinda reminds me of a board game. I do wish the overall art and look were a lil more pleasing and refined, but it turns out I actually do like the flat 2D style (versus 3D) that's used.

I'm hoping this gets more exposure, and great idea with extending the sale! (And here's hoping for a slightly updated art style!)

You love turn based games so a popular turn based game has an unexpected sale (unlikely to go cheaper) and you wishlist it? Interesting logic...

Wait, is 30 minutes too short or too long for you? And LOL, you make it sound like you're doing everyone a favor by putting a game that costs a dollar on your wishlist that falls under the genre you "love." Consequently, I feel terrible for everything and everyone that you love by that logic.

gratz! hope it keeps climbing. :D
I think he meant 30 missions, which is a ton. and I agree, and it's not like strategy games are too saturated either.

Actually, I like the art just like it is. Though a setting that looks even more like a board game with counters might be cool....as an option, that is. And I'd pay for it, too. Something like how Keg Bearer looks, for example, or maybe something like this :

Tactical Warrior with its small scale battles reminds me a lot of Time Tripper.

You have a problem in your exposure! I mean u didnt make an HD (ipad specific) version..Nor did u make your iphone version universal.. Thats why its not doing well on ipad market which either dont show if u r searching for ipad games and when it appears in iphone apps it doesnt show with a plus sign(universal)..although it plays good on ipad!
Thats why are doing well on iphone market and losing ipad market!

Excellent! Hopefully it can manage maintain that position for a while :)

In Japan it has made it into the top 100 paid games. A surprisingly large portion of yesterday's sales were in Japan. If it keeps up I may end up looking into how much it costs to translate into Japanese.

If you mean that the lite version is too long, I have made it slightly shorter in it's update, which will be live in a few days, hopefully. I want it to still be decently long though, so that it is still somewhat enjoyable, even if you don't get the full version.

I think he meant the 20MB barrier - over that and you can only download it via WiFi (instead of the cellular network) which will cut out a lot of 'impulse downloaders'

Glad to hear the game is doing well - it deserves it! :D

Well, there are a few improvements to the art in the update. Of course, slight is probably an apt descriptor for them.

That may be true. Having it be universal would probably help a fair bit. It is certainly not a trivial task to add though. Particularly, repositioning all the text and images on every interface and dealing with 2 different images for everything is a bit daunting. I also lack an iPad which is a bit of an impediment. I might look into it a bit though.

Oh! That makes a lot more sense now. I should probably look into that. There are at least 7MB of music that are bundled in the lite version but never played. I might be able to shave off the rest by just encoding the music at a lower bit rate for the lite version.

    Thanks :)

Apple set the update's status to "In Review" this morning so, if it passes, it should be live any day now.

I don't remember if I posted a full list of what is in the update or not so here it is:
    - Openfeint
    - Single player skirmishes vs AI
    - Manual unit placement (on most maps)
    - Skill reset shops
    - New items (about 9)
    - Improvements to graphics
    - Adjusted difficult (medium is slightly easier, and the second half of act 2 slightly easier)
    - Spelling and grammar fixes
    - Other minor things

Is this game retina display enabled? I tried the lite and I love it but there's no retina.
