    Thankyou! One of the more frustrating things about games from time to time is when the "wrong" colors are used for those of us who are colorblind - so many times people choose greens and reds that are very similar in saturation and brightness. And really for no reason - most of the time those colors could be swapped for others.

    Yeah, I would tend to agree with this. I think you'll get more sales from universal because people will want the flexibility, cheaper costs (1 app vs. 2), and consolidation. Going with iPad only, I think the only possible sales you'll get that you won't get with Universal are those who already bought it on iPhone/iPod - but even that won't be much (since I think some of those same people would buy the universal version as well, even though it's somewhat doubling up). Unless of course you price the iPad version lower than the Universal, but even then, the difference in purchases might not make up for the difference in price.

    what i mean for ipad owners to buy a game either 2 choices..IPad only version or universal...but if u keep non supported .. u will lose all ipad owners ..although it plays great on ipad by the way! no one will ever play an iphone only version on ipad lol..either ipad only or univeral

    so when the update will be out??? plz can add a new map via IAP and raise the level cap!!!!!..or maybe a new character loool or will it be in the update after the coming one?

    I guess that would be awfully frustrating. I think, for people who aren't color blind, red and green seem like just about the most opposite colors possible, so they don't seem like there should be a problem. Personally, I didn't know colorblindness was nearly as common as it is until someone complained in an iTunes review of Tactical Warrior and I looked it up on Wikipedia.

    Of course, the review wasn't that specific, so I am not 100% sure which parts of Tactical Warrior are terrible with color blindness. I am just guessing it is the yellow/orange walk/sprint squares and the green/red range/area squares. I am also not entirely sure if my fix makes it easy enough, however.


    Well, the update will probably be submitted later today or early tommorow if the last bit of testing goes well, so it will probably be out late next week.

    Before I can add IAP with new maps and characters I need to sell more of the base game. I am pretty sure I am over 2000 installs now, but not by much. I think a decent IAP would take me about 6 weeks of work, if I was highly disciplined and avoided any major time sinks.

    It's actually not that bad. I haven't really had any problems so far. It's just nice to see a developer support it.

    You probably already saw this in wikipedia - about 10% of men suffer from color blindness. Far less for women. Most common kind is red-green. And it doesn't mean I can't see red or green - it means there are situations in which I can't tell the difference, or more often, there are times when a color looks like something else. So maybe an olive green looks like brown (or vice versa) or a deep blue looks like purple (or vice versa).

    Yeah, that blew me away when I read that approximately 10% of men suffer from color blindness. This is what it will look like after the update. When there are two colors of squares for movement or attack on color will also be a bit smaller:

    i played with champion and barbarian...who did i say those guys are weak ..they are hell good
    i m willing to try animals this time but i looking forward for update to modify the snake and badger...i wish we can play with 3 snake , wolf and bagder..coz we have to choose between snake and wolf

    I would recommend waiting for the update to try the snake. I discovered that he was getting "Potion Filled" and "Potion Fed" for passive abilities instead of "Potion Filled" and "Foul Presence" like he was supposed to. Foul Presence is a much stronger version of alchemist's noxious fumes.

    Now that you mention it, I might add another copy of the snake or coyote somewhere in a future update, so people can get all three. Perhaps I could add a starting party that has an animal.


    These are the balance changes in version 1.2.0:

    Playable Coyote:
    - Potion Fed: (8 * level)% extra health -> (20 + 6 * level)% extra health

    Playable Snake:
    - Starts with Foul Presence instead of Potion Fed
    - Foul Presence: (4 * level) damage to enemies -> (5 * level) damage to enemies
    - Potion Filled: 0% extra health -> 35% extra health

    Playable Badger:
    - Roar: 35 -> 50 stamina
    - Roar: 6 + 1 * level damage -> 8 + 1.35 * level

    Gladiator:
    - Knives: 6 -> 5 strikes
    - Knives: 25 -> 15 stamina
    - Fiery Darts: 30 -> 35 stamina
    - Fiery Darts: 9 + 1.5 * level damage -> 10.5 + 1.75 * level

    the knight needs modification ...he is toooo weak...i mean slow and useless...if with knighty charge he enters battle so late and he is screwed!

    The Knight needs to be slow. His health is high, his armor is the highest in the game and his attacks are quite powerful, though they all attack just a single adjacent enemy.

    If you have a lot of ranged units, you can sit back and let the enemy come to you while you fire upon them. Then when they get to you, you have a powerful knight waiting.

    If you have a lot of stamina then you can sprint for the first few turns of battle and it won't be that big a set back.

    If you don't have a lot of stamina, you can equip something like a scone or steak so that you get more out of your frequent rests.

    If you are against alchemists and jackals, then he will be awful and you should probably pick a different warrior for the battle.

    Yeah, I should put it on sale again for a bit. I am not sure if I should wait till the update is out or if I should just make the sale start on Tuesday.

    The update went into review this morning, btw.

    Good stuff

    I just picked this up last weekend and I must say I like it alot, out of all the games I have I played it the most over the weekend :) I cant wait for more classes, I was thinking a healer would be fun as _____, like a shaman or paladin. Maybe even a druid that can shapeshift? Overall awesome game so far!

    So I just beat the last battle on the first map, my reward was a new class the knight I think. I was all excited but then I noticed it was lv 1, LOL What is the point of that? I cant use the new class at all because hes so low....

    Well, normally you can't get a knight until near the end of act 2, but if you are willing to tough it out with a level 1 party member (and if you had 6 warriors already, replace one of your other warriors) you can get a knight early. If you bring him along on all the easier battles and try to let him get a lot of finishing blows, he will catch up. Personally I find him to be worth the effort because I like his class a lot, but not everyone likes the knight.

    Thanks for the response Jam! Wow that was the fastest update approval I have ever seen lol so we can use new classes from the beginning now or we have to unlock them?
