    @Square:
ya, that's true- it's not so bad- just a minor inconvenience.

Don't get me wrong -- I would love to see the responsiveness improve. Or at least for there to be some immediate feedback when you select a soldier. Once you get used to the pause, though, it really doesn't get in the way of gameplay.

Yeah, we messed up a bit on the initial version, so it ended up requiring 4.2. We'll have an update out in the next few days that will run on older versions of the OS.

One fairly minor nit that I've not seen mentioned (so maybe it's only a deal with me) is how about making the comic cut scenes tap to continue? For two reasons, one, they flip through rather quickly and if I get disturbed for a second by someone I miss part of the story. Two, even though they are pretty quick, if you are seeing them for the third time or so you may want to tap through them even quicker.

Like I say, a small nit.

I'm playing the beginning on iPad1, and it seems quite good. There are tactical elements even since the beginning through the choice of fire covering an area or shooting a target, to choose target or move to change the percentage chance, or move in a one square passage to face only one zombie.

I suppose later grenades will also offer an important tactical choice. And now I met a companion, at two it opens more possibilities.

I do agree the cut scene chaining is too fast, English isn't my native language. An option to setup the chain speed plus even an option with tap would be cool. Also an option to customize the speed of the camera when you control it.

For now I do regret there isn't a bit more exploration on your own like not have so clear clues where to go and where there's items to take. But well it's also story guided which is very good and tuning that sort of stuff without to have players lost isn't easy.

Other than that this beginning is very good and the tutorial clear and well done.

But one point, how save the game? Perhaps it was mentioned in the tutorial but I didn't noticed.

Saves automatically after every turn -- though if you die it takes you to the last checkpoint.

Ha ok thank you, I haven't noticed special check points but I suppose it's also automatic like saves.

EDIT: Ha ok I just saw pass quickly a message during a cut scene mentioning checkpoint.

I must be missing something simple, but how do you apply skill points? I clicked on stats and see that I have 4 skill points, but dont know how to use them. Help please.

Edit. Never mind. I see that you update between levels.

On level end you get a skill upgrade screen. You can there select one of the 8 skills and press the + or - button to add a skill point.

Skill points are a shared pool for all character. So you can assign skill points to whatever character you want

It's hot, the resource management requires quite a lot of care to save ammo and healing resources. The management of your skills at each level up is certainly an important factor. It' not linked to this point but I also got my first death. When it happens you can restart from last checkpoint or at beginning of current level.

There's quite a lot of tension, a significant part comes from the feeling to be constantly close to a shortage of resources. Add that to the mood and the tension is quite high, up to be close to the tension some action game can have.

The tactical point of view is filling my expectation I found it quite good. It isn't only leaded in part by the resource management, but also by the diversity of weapons, and the actions combination that are possible, plus blocking and use obstacles is definitely working, plus the level up and skills management of each and all soldiers seems also quite significant too.

    Doing nothing of importance.

Any updates to get this game running on iOS 4.1? I REALLY don't want to update my iPod as most of my songs aren't stored on my computer still and I'm afraid of losing all my music, as well as app data, etc. I found a way to install it on iOS 4.1, but it crashes at startup.

The developer wrote earlier that the first update should make the game compatible with 4.1 (and earlier, I believe).

Oh, thanks for the heads up. I guess I'll just wait for that to be released then.

Nice game, the aesthetics remind me of metal gear acid a little, which I enjoyed immensely:)
Creepy atmosphere works well, can't wait to play more. My only issue is the fiddley camera, I just can't seem to get used to it at the moment.

Not sure why folks are having problems with the camera. It's simple: swipe with two fingers horizontally to rotate the map horizontally, swipe with two fingers vertically to rotate the map vertically. Pinch to zoom in and out. Best thing to do is to choose a view that's comfortable for a particular encounter and stick with it, dragging with one finger to scroll through the map.

I wish a camera control option allowing use a relative control, so slower. It's not fps and about guiding the camera to look where the action requires it. In this game it's about choosing the best camera angle and point of view. So it's more precision than pure speed.

That's why I think a slower relative control of the camera would fit better some players, if not all. At least this should be an option.

    Another topic:
Is someone finish it and can report how overall is the difficulty and the ammo management?

I'm hesitant continue my current playing where I feel I lost a bit too many opportunity to save more ammo, particularly until I understand fully how it was working.

I see your point, but I guess I got used to the speed. I have no problem getting it exactly where I need it.

Regarding the camera speed - you guys on phones, and in case yes - iPhone 4?

We already added this to our to investigate list for the next upgrade, but it might be a matter of personal preferences as well as the device used. So any info you can give you be super duper. Thanks

    /Thomas
