Does this support MFi controllers like the previous version?

Yup. It's not saving progress right now whenever the app is closed.

I was actually considering buying this... oh well it will be back in a week or so

This is lame. Right when it was free.

We have withdrawn it temporarily from the store because there was a problem with the saved game. It's fixed and now back in review with Apple. Will be available some time next week pending some thorough testing and resubmission. Apologies for the false start, anyone who got it with the bug in it, hang in there, there's an update in the pipeline now.

    Apologies from all the team.

Hi Guys - back again - listen, we've been thinking at lot about this and the right way for us to do this without upsetting anyone is to do it via promo code in the short term and then maybe a free 24 hours in the longer term.

So, if you're desperately upset about having paid for TTR in 2013 and then were traumatized by it going to free (I think it traumatized us more than you in the end, lol) and if you're going to play it and enjoy it - then you should have a promo code for 'Table Top Racing Premium Edition' (1.3 has been approved should be live shortly).

Just pm me on here with an email address and we'll try and sort you guys out in the fairest way possible. Clearly we're going to be limited on the amount of promo codes we get (probably 50 for now) so it will be on a first come first served basis.

Hopefully this gesture will satisfy most of you and hopefully you won't pan the game in reviews as a protest vote, but help us on this transitional quest from "dabbling with f2p" to "committed Premium dev" by supporting us with a fair review - that's all I ask - a review of the game, not our mistakes. That would be awesome.

We all really appreciate your time, patience and support in this matter and hopefully you can still have a lot of fun with TTR.

PS I am actually writing a potted history of how and why we ended up here - I'll make sure TA get it as an article too. Maybe they will find a bit of space on the webpage for our repenting story

    All the best

    Nick

Nothing like being condescending while totally missing the point in the process. No one was "traumatized", just duped.

Ok, sorry poor choice of words. We didn't set out to dupe anyone, we just wanted more people to play it. If I'd had a permanent programmer at the time, I would have done a separate free version, but we were hamstrung and we weren't sure how many people would actually be bothered. We know now and we're willing to make amends.

Hi guys, just wanted to let you all know that Table Top Racing Premium Edition is back on the store and available now! We still have some promo codes available for those of you who bought the original before it went free. These are very limited numbers and so it's on a first come first served basis only.

That's excellent. To be honest, it's a great game, I bought the original, and I've really got no issue in spending a few dollars to support you guys again. My hesitation is that in the version I currently have I've got a few hundred thousand dollars and most of the cars.. There's no way to transfer the save is there?

Shame that video isn't showing the game at full framerate. :( But thanks for putting it up anyway.

It runs at the full 60fps on my iPad 4/iPhone 5.
Smooth as butter. Or a very finely aged 60 year old whiskey.

Man, I'm thoroughly enjoying this game again :) I love how varied the tracks, cars and missions are. I only wish there were more people playing so we can get some good online matches going...

    Thanks for the videos though.
I look forward to seeing them when YouTube make that change, it will make a huge difference to seeing the games as they run on device in relation to the high frame rate ones.

Yeah, even if youtube sort that out, there's still the thorny issue of capturing it at 60hz. I've only found one solution to that - Blackmagic UltraStudio for Thunderbolt™ $995...we might get one and rent it back out to the local devs.
