It's times like this where I loathe my 360's lack of ability to pick up WiFi... I've been dying to play MW2 online lately. I've been playing COD4 on the Wii a bit too much lately.

My gamertag is Underoath709 but I never go on. I used to play a few games of Left 4 Dead online when it first came out, but having to disconnect my 360 and reconnect it near my ethernet cable every time I wanted to play got really annoying.

 

What some people on another website I used to go to did, is they made a silver account and had everybody link up to it, and then we could all play with each other by looking at the "Friends" option.

 

Well, if anyone wants to go for this, I'm all for it.

Btw, I just found some random really long ethernet cable that somehow reaches into my room! If I can find an easier way of getting it into my room (as it pretty much stretches across the hallway and gets in the way of the bathroom door) I can probably play on Live!

I can play online since I have a bunch of Gold trials from random games I've bought just laying around. And I don't have a mic since I stepped on my cousin's headset one day and broke it, so I gave him mine.

Actually, my connection wasn't TOO bad, but then I lagged out. But then again, I had 3 bars and 2 other people had lagged at the same time. It happens to me on COD4 all the time.

 

what games are you guys playing? And why don't you just replace Xbox 360 with PC/Console ?

Yeah so if you guys want to add me, look up Underoath709. I'll be playing Modern Warfare 2, Left 4 Dead 2, and World at War (for Nazi zombies) the most, although I'll probably play others like skate. and Resident Evil 5.

BTW: Can you hook up a USB keyboard and use that to chat in-game? As I said before I don't have a mic and seeing as my house phone doesn't have speakerphone it gets to be a pain to use while playing. I'd have no problem using a keyboard if it's a possibility.

 

Just a quick question:

Is there a promo or something going on in Modern Warfare 2 right now? I have silver and it's letting me play online no problem, but I try any other game like Left 4 Dead 2 or World at War and it says I need gold. I have some 48 hour trials and might get gold anyway, but before I do so, I just wanted to know what was going on.

Yeah, I was using a silver account I have that for some reason let's me download Mature demos (which I would've sworn I needed gold for), and there was a MW2 ad explaining that silver members get the weekend to try out multiplayer.

 

SiDCrAzY, not connected right now though. Still looking for a cheap wireless adapter. I'm not paying 60 bucks for one.

 

If you have a laptop there's apparently a way to turn that into a wireless adapter. I just lucked out and found a long ethernet cable that reaches my room.

 

Yeah... well I liked it enough and went Gold. So anyone who wants to add me now can, but if you want an online game, I don't have a mic, so that might be an issue in games like L4D2.

I have Call of Duty 4 for both the wii and 360, but since it's my friend's scratched up disc of the 360 one, it might not be able to play online. I'll give it a shot really quick.

And who here has World at War? I want to play some Nazi Zombies online since my iPod version can't connect to online MP, and I don't know anyone else who has it yet.
