I like the multiple choice vote too. I picked three! Crashlands already looks like a clear winner. But if Solitairica and Super Mario Run finish ahead of SteamWorld Heist or Teeny Titans, then clearly not enough people have played the latter two...
Would have voted for Tomb of the Mask as well but I totally thought that was last year. Nope. February. I'm all outta sorts here. Crashlands is certainly worthy but I wanted to give the other games a shot so just voted for SMR and Steamworld Heist. Kinda sad SF Reloaded didn't make the cut too. So many good strategy games that I wish I could get into but I know if I bought them I'd end up playing it once and calling it quits. Might have to try Imbroglio though, since everyone seems to love it. Without sounding too cheesy I wanna say; this community is a HUGE part of my life. Crashlands and Tomb of the Mask were easy choices for me. I'm surprised that Bullet Hell Monday didn't make the cut... ah well.
It's looking like Crashlands may take out the first spot - but the battle is on for second and third...
I liked Bullet Hell Monday quite a bit, but I think the best game not in the top 10 is Sky Force Reloaded. It's probably the only game that rivalled Crashlands for number of hours played for me. Teeny Titans and SteamWorld Heist were both shorter, but equally sweet.
For me, by far: Imbroglio... not just Game of the Year, but of many years, everything else feels like a cheap plastic toy compared to how well thought out and condensed this game is. I'm already happy that this masterpiece is in the list of nominations! Crashlands is objectively fantastic, but I never got into it, the crafting simply bored me and I deleted it after a few days. But I fully understand it becoming GOTY.
I completely missed the nominations and since none of my absolute favorites made the list, i'll go with Tomb of the Mask and Mario Run. My winner is Lost Socks, followed by Bullet Hell Monday which is, after already playing for so long and still going, my all-time favorite shmup.

Not enough for a real top ten. This is the year I lost a bit of interest in the platform. Losing too many classic games to iOS updates and feeling like I finally lost faith in getting more open world games like Monster Hunter or some good Diablo clones. But I think the above titles made me want even more from the platform, which I feel it had become increasingly flooded with more of the same timer/F2P/colour scheme. Crashlands was a beacon of light though and a game that made crafting fun, exploration great (even if a bit samey), but also the game that made me laugh and smile while experiencing the story.

I'm so glad Crashlands got so much love this year. I've been listening to the Coffee with Butterscotch podcast and wow, these guys are about as entertaining as it gets. One of the few things that make lol for realzies. How's that for a plug? =D
