Plague Inc -- I like it better than Pandemic. It's quite challenging too. Dungeon Village -- latest Kairosoft release.
first it was :heroes call! now ( thx to toucharcade) i discovered zombie carnaval! this is the best runnergame! even if you fail( like falling in the bombs) it's a blast! THIS is the game of the week!pure addiction!
The links were not wrong, different games. I'll be putting the poll up very soon - those of you who put in nominations already make sure to differentiate between Taito's Zombie Carnival and Mobigame's Zombie Carnaval, please.
Wow, this is going to be the first tough week in a while for me to vote. Love all the games I picked up ... Inferno+, Zombie Carnaval, Mega Run, Expand It! and even Heroes Call. Despite the freemium debate over Heroes Call, I've probably been playing it the most, but all the others are great too. Also got Duckers, which is pretty fun, but probably not on the top with the others. Can't even think of the last week I got six new releases! Have to give it a few more days before deciding on what to vote for. Sad thing is there's even a few others on my wish list from this week -- Plague, Inc. and Axon Runners.
I was really gonna take Inferno+, but i made a last minute change and went with Zombie Carnaval as the game has taken a lot of my time lately, and each one was a blast playing it.
Think I'm going to vote for Inferno+ simply because it's awesome and the complete package. I really am digging Heroes Call, but still am not a fan of its freemium aspect (particulary the wait times). It would have easily been my GOTW if it weren't for that and an occassional crash. Probably one reason I love it is just because of the lack of good Diablo-style games on the iOS. But that doesnt' make it the best game simply because of the issues above. If they had a wait-time unlock and fixed the crashing issues, it would be one of my favorite hack n' slashes. Zombie Carnaval and Mega Run are also fantatasic (surprised Mega Run isn't getting more attention). Really great runners. ZC for it's unique power ups and buiding up hordes of zombies. Mega Run because I feel it's almost more of a platformer than a straight runner (only thing I dislike about this is the constant IAP grab with the "Save Me" pop-up.) But alas, Inferno+ exceeded my expections -- it's better than the XBLA version. And a blast with plenty of replay value.
