Crap. I apologize for that oversight, for some reason I assumed the poll defaulted to public. However, I propose proceeding as is. Although there are a number of fan favorite games at stake here the nominations were such that I do not think much will be contested; the most nominated game received more nominations than the second and third combined. Also generally speaking there have not been many shenanigans in these polls (rigged polls happen as an exception to the rule, but not very often). If community and/or moderator opinion differs then I can abide that too and recreate poll.
Little Luca is my vote. I really hope it does well and we can see more games by this developer on iOS. Really impressive.
Very clear and transparent. And for the public thing, first time so no worries, WarHammer Quest is going to win either way and I doubt a high profile company like Disney is going to rig the poll.
Posted notice in the thread of each nominated game... It would be amusing if users posted the game they voted for and brief thoughts so I encourage that. Not really the first time; probably not the last time but I agree if there was a time to fudge on the public option this seems to be it. I remember one time covering for EchoSeven when Bulky Pix, or a rogue fan, appeared to stack the poll with shill accounts in favor of that Redneck Revenge game. It's a shame to see when things like that happen because it's disrespectful towards the gaming community, fortunately that type of things seems uncommon here.
Voted for Warhammer Quest. I didn't expect it to be as fun as it is, I was pleasantly surprised. KOTOR is almost certainly better though, unless they've really screwed up the port. It's a great game, I played it through multiple times on playstation. But I decided I shouldn't vote for a game I haven't actually played on iOS. I've bought it and downloaded it, but have been busy playing Warhammer Quest so haven't had time to play it...
Ace Attorney had my vote. I've never played the game before so I'm totally hooked, I'm suprised by the depth of the game!
KOTOR gets my vote. WHQ is certainly a close second, but i wont choose it just because it's indie. I choose the game that gives me the most satisfaction, and one that is also high quality. This i'll say... For anyone in the fence about which one to get, if you can aford it, get BOTH. Give yourself a pat in the back later after you've had your enjoyment with both these games.
Voted for KotoR , i like wq and pw a lot but this game is one of my all time favorites and carrying it on my tablet is a dream come true.
Voted for the game I nominated: Warhammer Quest. Hardcore mode is the way to play -- lots of tension especially when there's chains of ambushes,and one doesn't know if the party will get through it. Great stuff.
While I WAS going to vote for Warhammer, Little Luca got my vote. Insanely charming little gem of a game.

Warhammer Quest, obviously. iOS needs brave developers who are prepared to create new and exclusive games.
Unfortunately there's no way to alter the poll to be public after it has been posted; I'll be more careful next time (if EchoSeven remains unavailable and no one else jumps in).
Looks like it's going to be a horse race between WQ and KOTOR. It really would be impressive as an iPad only game still comes out on top. In the past, if an iPad game won, like Bastion, it was clear that it was insanely better than the iPhone releases at the time. This time around I think they both could be GoTY material.
