Hyper Breaker Turbo I didn't think I'd like it all that much and mostly bought it to support Dutch devs and polished games without consumable IAP that work on iPad 1, but it is surprisingly fun and I couldn't stop playing.
Mad Agents (old style bubble bobble type platformer) MajiKazo (an emulation of an emulation but plays superbly well with iCade) Men's Room Mayhem (probably my number 2 of the week) Hyper Breaker Turbo (fantastic breaker) Dead Ahead (dead good)
Nominating: Combo Crew Zombie Fishtank Combo Crew smokes everything else I tried, but both are excellently produced.
This week my nominations are: Downhill Supreme Lightning Fighter x Francesca Combo Crew Dead Ahead 1968 I'll probably vote for Downhill Supreme if it's gets enough nominations. I know there's a ton of hill climbers and bike games, but, this is a really good one. The only downside is that it's a little too short. Lightning Fighter x Francesca: The 5 boss battles are easily worth the 99 cents. Overall the game was way too short. I really hope some more levels are coming (even if it's via an In App Purchase). Combo Crew: It's an interesting take on a "beat 'em up", I'm just not sure it's going to get me hooked. Dead Ahead: Interesting shoot and run game. I need to spend some more time with this one. 1968: I played the first 30 levels before getting a little burned out. . . . They really should have charged 99 cents for this game. There's a 99 cent IAP, but; you're only tempted by it after playing for a long time.
Whoops I see that you're right. . . I was stuck on these challenges: -Ride 1,500 m without shooting -Make a 15 kill combo -Kill 50 zombies. For some reason I thought I had to do all 3 objectives in the same run. I see now that I actually had 2 of the 3 stars. *Edit* The little "each objective must be done during one ride" message is what messed me up. I read that the wrong way. . . . It means individual challenges like "get 10 double kills with the shotgun" have to be completed in one ride.
Totally forgot to vote last week, hoped Jacob Jones and the Bigfoot Mystery would be on this week. Well, if JJ does not count, then Quell Memento is the winner for me. Surprisingly good puzzler, made me get the previous ones as well.
Dead Ahead. Stickman Tennis. My only two downloads this week. Both better than I originally expected.
