That's just a soft launch in 3 countries, not launching world wide until Jul 11. Don't see how it's eligible, or how it would be fair to the game (since it will probably be my GOTW for Jul 11 )
agreed... I haven't played it yet (as I know a lot of you have - damn lucky frick'n betatesters... =oP ) - but judging by the info and after playing through Ravenmark, it's a pretty good bet that Mercenaries will wind up being a GOTY for me. =oP

Know XCOM is good and was the "big" release of the week but would love to see the efforts of the seven-man team of Spiral be rewarded.
I know it has no chance in hell of beating out xcom or spiral but whirl the squirrel is getting my vote...
