TA Forums Game of the Week! (Aug 22nd)

The Curse gets my vote.

 

Spent most of my time with One Epic Knight but my vote goes to Mikey Shorts, because I don't like the unresponsitive controls on OEK, the cheap deaths and the fact that it's not possible to switch lanes while jumping. Still a great game though, hopefully the devs will fix the controls.
Mikey Shorts is a great platformer (I usually don't like platformer) and gets my vote although I'm really bad in it. I'm happy to get 2 stars in any level in challenge mode xD

 

as mikey is going to win this anyways, i gave my vote to my runner up "lost cities" for being a perfectly designed and playable mobile boardgame-translation. let's see who wins the "slow paced" division...

Yeah, even though it's gonna get crushed by Mikey Shorts, I have to say that I've actually played Eternity Warriors 2 more than any other game this past week.

I do really like Mikey Shorts and actually have gone through the entire story mode (haven't three-starred every level yet). But I guess it's the dungeon crawler lover in me that's made it difficult to pull away from EW2 even though I've been frustrated at times (not very good at parrying). Great game.

 

Lost Cities gets my vote. I've been playing it obsessively, both online games and off. The challenges add value to the offline AI play and the online works well (but I do wish they'd add timers). The stat tracking is icing on the cake. Great game.

I know that Mikey Shorts is gonna win this, but having to put in so much time into Eternity Warriors just got me choosing it over Mikey Shorts. Mikey Shorts is probably the best game in this week's releases, but what's better, is that there are lots of great releases this week. Except for Supercock, everything is so worthy to be enjoyed much.

 

Yeah its really annoying when people said this was a weak week. No way.
