3 amazing games this week: Shantae, Z2, and MC3. Blosics was also pretty good. Had to go with with MC3. Lol, Riptide only got one vote?
Yeah, couldn't believe that either. Then I remembered that the non retina graphics pissed off a lot of people off.
there was a bug that disabled the retina in the game, apparently the developers are fixing it in an update.
oh. yea people would get pissed at that.... well there's no chance of me buying that anyways. cant even get dark meadow on sale cuz im broke D: I remember the whole world of goo thing.....
If The Adventures of Tintin was a worldwide release, that would be a no-brainer. It's definitely the best game of the week. As it is, I'm not sure whether to go with MC3 or Shantae.
For one MC3 isn't exactly an original game, more of a clone of CoD:MW2 and really not that much different than MC2 but MC3 is close to a current gen console game experience. Z2 is a little more original and a lot more refined than the previous Zombieville game. Now granted I understand everyone has different tastes in games, hence the reason you don't think Z2 is better than MC3. So I don't expect to change your mind.
This is a GOTW thread, not a thread of which game is the most original. It's which game you liked the best. I love both games, Zombieville 2 and MC3, but I was just asking why he is saying that Zombieville 2 deserves to win GOTW of the week over MC3.
Yeah.. If a friend, more likely than not a console gamer, asked me to show him the platform-defining game for the iOS, I'd probably show him MC3. It's amazing. It provides a better experience than every iOS shooter, including Dead Space. Considering how good and groundbreaking the multiplayer is, it really deserves to be called MW2 for the iPhone.
Yeah, I don't care if Shadowgun looks better, MC3 is still an amazing achievement for iOS! But if MC3 was for 2G owners too, it'd have a massive amount of votes... Now some can't get it and obviously they go for ZU2. But seriously MC3 deservers, and I hope it wins, GOTY material, at least for me as I haven't noticed these bugs on multiplayer.
lol, game of the week of the week. I think my answer was pretty clear as to why some people would think Z2 is better than MC3. You can play a MC3/MW2 type game on ANY platform that is currently available, while a Z2 experience can't be had on every platform and is more unique. Also I wouldn't call a type of game that is available on every platform or device, platform defining, cutting edge maybe but not platform defining considering you can play it on any platform.
Pretty surprised that Shantae got so few votes. I keep going back to that game for the past few days.
