I think you missed Mafia Rush by Chillingo. Technically a re-release (accidental release right before Christmas) its a top notch DSS, and very fun. Nominating that and Clear Vision, though when I vote it'll be for Mafia Rush if its in the poll.

Neoteria is great and all but it doesn't get my vote due to invisible buttons (touchscreen phones need visual representation IMHO) and a save data bug. It also seems like Game Center doesn't work properly when Open Feint is being stupid. Edit I re-installed the game and the saves work, so I added it to my official nom list. The OF/GC and invisible button problems still stand.

SZC: Beyond Dead actually has a ton going for it and is a pretty deep game, but it's marred by long load times--even for pausing--and not-so-great controls. They should've taken a page out of the Star Marine control book. Edit It looks like the dev is listening to feedback and is working on the things mentioned in the thread.

Is Audio Invaders qualified for nominating? Would get my nominee easily. It came out today btw. And my GOTW or actually Update Of The Week is Modern Combat 3 which update just got rid of hackers

 

Gridrunner all the way. Pure awesomeness.

 

Had to vote for Neoteria... It's the one I've spent the most time with, just keeps pulling me back to it. =oD

I'm actually kind of surprised Midway Arcade didn't even make the poll, especially considering how well it's selling. I know some people aren't getting used to the controls though...

 

I voted for ZiGGURAT, but truth be told I've probably played Gridrunner more. Both are great in any case. It wish it were a two game race between Gridrunner and ZiGGURAT, but I'll take a win for Gridrunner, and at the moment it looks like it's going to get it.

 

Zig is good but Gridrunner is pure bliss.
