Seeing as most of you listen to them, I wanted to know what your favorite song(s) were. :)

While I like a few of their songs, Serj's solo career... oh boy.

Edit: In retrospect, a bit off-topic, but I was just wondering what others thought.

To be honest, I'm sort of a afraid to check out his Solo career - I want to know if it's the same..

At the moment it's Boom!, but it changes depending on my mood.

Edit: I really like some of Serj's solo songs.

Like Empty Walls, Sky is Over and Lie, Lie, Lie.

After years of trying to understand, I just don't get this band... at all.

He sounds like Kermit the Frog half drunk and trying to sing opera with a metal band.

Imagine Kermit singing any of those songs and you'll never like them again. I sure you will, but I can't understand how.

To be fair, though, I turn them up when they come on the radio if I have someone else in the car. it always gets a good laugh.:D I'm not trying to start anything here, I just really, really don't see the appeal.

I'd love to see Kermit in a metal band period.

I think I prefer older SoaD, before Shavo stepped up to the mic. He's a good vocalist, it's just slightly... different. Spiders is a fantastic song, as is Suggestions. Needles and Forest are probably my favourites on Toxicity.

...and Serj's solo stuff is just as crazy. There's more piano and probably a bunch of brass instruments, but his vocals still reek of SoaD and some of the songs are catchy as hell. If you're gonna listen to Elect the Dead, listen to it twice before you decide it's not SoaD-y enough.

It's much more listenable for those that can't stand the intensity of SOAD, but still, the lyrics to Empty Walls made me roll my eyes.

I only have one of their songs but BYOB is pretty good.
