when i try to update to ios 5 on my ipod touch 4, it says its synced to another itunes library and i have to erase and sync, which i dont wanna do. Help? i dont know which computer my ipod is synced to.
Try transferring purchase from your device first. Also, are you talking about the music or app library? (or whatever library you're having trouble with)

If you do upgrade you will probably find you have to restore most of the music and apps manually anyway. Mine seemed to go ok but took ages (5 hours 64gb model) but I found it had messed up most of my music and a lot of my apps couldn't access the save data which meant putting them back manually anyway. Might be best to just erase first and start fresh, I don't think the IOS 5 upgrade is really worth the trouble in honesty though.
