  1. Hey Guise,

thanks for your input. We will be updating the app soon to adjust the balancing, however, your suggested addition will not be integrated immediately. So, bear with us, please.

Currently you have the option to select your own music in iTunes and the game will respect that and you will only hear the sound effects.

    Best wishes,
    Daniel

Finally got a chance to pick this up. I loved the art style from the screenshots and the game does not disappoint. It is very fun to play together with someone else on one iPad, each picks one side of the screen, or you get a child to "help" you. Sometimes I wish the game was just a tad less sensitive, it can be a bit frustrating when you press almost on the right spot but still get an error because you're a few pixels off. That's part of the challenge though, and there are enough lives to compensate for it. To get the high scores needed to unlock further levels, I need to learn to be more precise though. I love the graphics, it is a really unique style. I like the music a lot too, I was just getting a bit tired of the music in the puzzle games I am mostly playing lately, and this is different and better. Spot the difference may sound boring, but this feels very different from other spot the difference games. There's an arcade-y highscore-chasing feel to it. If you like the style, and like indie games without any IAP, I definitely recommend giving this one a try.

I thought I clicked all the differences, but intermittently, "non" would appear with an alert sound. Is that normal?

  5. "Non" or variations thereof appear whenever you tapped in the wrong place or you missed to spot a difference. The helping hand always appears shortly before that but depending on the density of objects it may be possible to overlook. Still happens to me as well.

Just unlocked train 5 and only now have I just noticed that the clocks on the train platform say the real world time :D nice little touch.

Picked this up when it was on sale recently. Wasn't sure what to expect, but I'm pleasantly surprised. Great art style and aesthetic and the gameplay mechanic is more challenging than I expected, since you have to touch where the object would be. When the train's moving fast, the gameplay has a nice twitchy reflex-testing vibe to it, as you're not only looking for the discrepancies but also need to track their mirrored location in motion

And the art style deserves a shout out again, wonderful to look at

One tip that took me a while to work out was that you don't need to click on the thing that is missing. You can click on the thing that exists but is missing its mirror image. I got a bit frustrated clicking on empty space and getting misses, especially with the really small items. Clicking on the existing item really cut down those errors and was essential for me getting my multiplier up

  10. Thanks for the good words, Bronxsta, really appreciate it. If you have any suggestion on how to improve the game, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Thanks, this helped a lot, but I kind of prefer doing it the other way since it adds some puzzle elements and challenge in quickly estimating the potential location of the missing object.

  12. I believe this falls into the category of bragging rights.

Wow this thread is old! Just finished it today (unlocked all trains). And I have to say it is a really cool little game! It is on sale ver frequently so I would recommend picking it up for 99cents.

The soundtrack is fitting, graphics are pretty decent and the gameplay is good. I just found myself to think of it as a little stale and repetitive and in comparison with altos adventure it lacks quite a bit in overall enjoyment. Still, it is. Dry dated but I think it is still unique on the App Store and well done, recommended for a sale price.

  14. Hey @forsakenxe,

thank you for the favorable review. It is good to hear that you enjoyed the game so much that you unlocked all trains. Awesome. Yes, the game is dated and the mechanics could use a bit more variation and polish. I agree to this in hindsight. One thing that bugs me now is the fact that we decided that every train continually picks up speed. That was a heavily debated topic during development and we made a wrong choice there. Unfortunately, we never made enough money off this project to even support us financially. Which is one reason why the game has remained the same since release. On the other hand the exposure we got through this helped us in a few other unexpected ways and so you don't see us complaining either. ^___^
