The switch has been flipped,, the next appstore server update will now have SXPD released worldwide. should be only a few hours
So glad this is coming out soon ! This is an epic night of games, quite a few to buy (and make room for !)
Being both a comic book geek and an iOS freak, this game is something that I just had to get my grubby hands on. The game has an independent comicbookish vibe that feels just right. The artwork and animation complement one another just fine. The writing is a bit overdone (think 90s Image), but given its comic book theme, it's acceptable. Given its black and white colors, while the animation is top-notch, I found it difficult to navigate my cycle in the high-speed chases in story-mode. The 2.5D landscape and the BW visuals moving at incredible speeds made it hard to differentiate the scenery you were coming upon from a distance, resulting in many crashes. Thankfully, the system is forgiving and quickly reboots from where you crashed, but it just happened to me too often. Additionally, the "tracking indicator" hovering over the miscreants I'm trying to catch can be a bit confusing. The "bar" shows up as green when I'm viewing the criminals in front of me (cool), but also mislead me when it shows up green while superimposed in front of a boulder or some other obstruction (not cool), briefly giving me a false sense of security up until the moment I realize I'm going to crash into the object. It would be great if the indicator could turn "yellow" if the law-breaker were "behind" an object. In this way, players will know to navigate around while giving chase from a distance. All in all, this is a great little package and I'm looking forward to further tweaks to improve gameplay as well as any additional content down the pike. Good stuff!
I'm gonna propose something like this to the other devs, cuz its a very good idea and GUI upgrade, thanks
Damn didn't realise it was iPad only. I'll still get this but would also love it on my phone (please dev?)

Love the game, I just put Sin City in for background while playing. bigjack66 Well-Known Member Aug 5, 2013 664 0 0 #79 bigjack66, May 21, 2014 Looks nice but gameplay looks annoying. I notice you keep crashing into walls, can't shoot for toffee and in the whole video not one missile hit it's target! Also why is the rider holding a joypad and not the handlebars?
