Can't say for sure, but I think AppShopper has just been behind all day. Several things from last night aren't showing up.
This is one game i'm going to completely ignore the achievements for. It is far too good and fun to care about them! I love jumping and swooshing with the sword, would not want this game to end! Simply going to take time and just enjoy it as it comes.
lol... annnnnyway. So upset that I've gotta put this down to go to work... =oP Just a question for when I get back tonight though... what are you guys spending your skill points on when you upgrade? Myself - I've got 5 hearts (with HP recharging on my armor), and the rest split evenly between magic and attack... Just wondering if you guys are spending the majority of your points on one thing, or going evenly between everything, or what? Again... just curious.
could be 5.01 - I had quite a few games crash with 5.01 and then run fine after updating to 5.1... I didn't loose any data like I did upgrading to 5.0 - so unless there's some specific reason why you're sticking with .01, you might wanna upgrade to 5.1 - helps the battery a bit too. =o)
THere's one part of the game where I wished I had put more points into magic. Granted I had only put one point into it. I had mainly been focusing on attack and health. It's probably wise to have a balance.
This game... ioasdfhsklhfgjkhsdfgjkhdfjkghkjsfg looks like I'm gonna recharge my phone for a 3rd time today. Truly the only iOS game other than Shantae to have me hooked and my full undivided attention fixated nowhere but my iPhone's screen. Honestly, this is a reason to own an iDevice. Seriously.
The pure awesomeness of this game had me wondering. Are there any similar games that even come close? Robot Wants Kitty is a good Metroidvania style game. Grokion is cool but has frustratingly difficult controls. Beyond Dead had potential but the gameplay is just too slow for my liking. I love beat em ups and love experience bars, if only we had more of this quality on the AppStore. Here's hoping this sells well so we can get a sequel!
Robot Want's Kitty was awesome, but it's not like this game at all. Different style. I honestly have never played a game like Swordigo.
No, there is nothing quite like this. If you mean, from the point of view of an uncompromising, complete package, with attention to detail, its own identity, and no cop-outs for "being on the iOS," there's only one other title I can think of: Solomon's Keep. Though it does contain IAP (of the less harmful kind.)
