    No. Maybe Zelda... but

If this was $1 I'd buy it.

Come on, your telling me you've never gone back to replay Super Mario Bros 3? If not then I doubt you have that game.

I hope your being sarcastic about the $1 thing, I've bought so many games for less and more than this one that I deleted after about five minutes, where as this game is simply a joy to play and the fun factor is up there for me with my all time favorite iOS games (Hook Champ series, Tilt to Live, MC3 online, Bug Heroes, Jet Car Stunts). That's only rating it those on fun factor alone.

    Just buy it, please.

So I have a trial walkthrough up that I need feedback with - have a look and let me know how you feel about the formatting.

It's currently text, but I'd much rather replace it all with images. What do you think?

That is a bummer... the game looks perfectly suited for the iCade. I'll wait and see if iCade support gets added in a future update.

    Very good work!
Images would obviously work better in conjunction with the descriptions, but it's very much better than nothing.

I look forward to the later stages, if I haven't completed them by the time you finish this. :)

Come on its so cheap ! Just buy it !!! If we all wait for price drops or for games to be free developers would probably abandon iOS and go to another platform to make money. Its $1.49 !!! Yeah i've got 100's of games still to play but i like supporting the devs as i hope they'll get great sales and release more. But honestly, $1.49 and people are being cheap as anything, laughable. Wait 6 months to save your precious dollar then !

I'd understand if we were talking about a game going from $4.99 or even $2.99 to $0.99 within a matter of days, but this game certainly isn't going free anytime soon... and what, you're going to wait four weeks to save a measly dollar? Take a look at Touch Foo's AppShopper record...it's speaks miles that Soosiz has only been free once since it first appeared on the App Store in '09. If you think waiting for a price drop is the best thing to do, then so be it... but really, it's this mentality that is forcing iOS gaming down the craphole otherwise known as Freemium.

Totally agree ! (Puts on old mans hat), in my day games were $15 when i was a kid, took a while to save up for them, the cheapest ones were $3 but were often rubbish and it was pot luck if you bought a good one. Here we have some VERY good games for $1.49 ? Amazing value. Yet STILL people are tight as anything and want to wait to save 50c or so.

Again i want this game to do well as then the devs will think 'damn it sold really well, we'll have to do a sequel...' etc, if we all thought 'i know i'll wait 6 months so i can save a dollar' then the game wont sell that well and its bad news for all of us.

But again, this isnt some $60 X-Box game, this is JUST a $1.49 or so game, come on

I said absolutely nothing about wanting or expecting the game to "go free".

Sure; I've got enough going on both inside and outside of the gaming world that I'm not in a rush to pick up any particular title. Your line would be more convincing if a cursory examination of the Price Drop forum didn't quickly reveal that over the past couple of years, many, many highly-regarded apps have dropped in price only a couple of weeks after release (if not sooner), and if the threads on that forum didn't always have a handful of TA regulars who should know better getting upset or angry because of those entirely predictable price drops (hence the Charlie Brown reference).

Before you launch into an argument based on a misunderstanding, please note that I did not say that this game wasn't worth the price being charged, nor did I state that the developers need to (or even should) lower that price; in fact, based on my initial impressions of the game and the positive feedback it has received, I'm actually surprised it wasn't priced higher. It is very important to note, however, that it is absolutely none of your business whatsoever if I decide not to pay the current asking price immediately, and I say that as a simple statement of fact.

If the price doesn't change in a couple of weeks, will I likely pay that $2.59 and pick up the game? Yes. Will I be bothered that the price didn't change? No. Will I regret the money spent if the price does change later? Not at all.

Actually, no, it's the insistence that games costing more than a dollar are "overpriced", that they should have no IAP, no ads, and provide a lifetime of free updates that is damaging the iOS gaming scene, and (far more importantly) hurting developers financially. It's a large part of why we've seen many ostensibly popular and well-rated apps not do very well financially, and why we've seen some of the actual developers involved saying as much right here on TA.

Crusades like Gabrien's "NO IAP EVER!" extremism are far more harmful to the scene, because we've repeatedly seen that the competitive and almost mandatory 99-cent price point often isn't enough to be worthwhile as a one-off purchase unless you're one of the major established developers. At this point, opposing optional IAP is tantamount to telling a developer that you don't want them to make money; if people want to pay for cosmetic items, unlocks, speedups, or just a straightforward financial contribution to support the author, they should be allowed to do so without somebody else's irrational, misguided knee-jerk dislike preventing them from doing so.

Setting aside the hyperbole and "freemium craphole" hysterics, deciding to wait a short while to see if a luxury item drops in price - especially in this arena where there is demonstrable evidence of this happening daily - just makes sense, so there's no point getting angry at the people who choose to do so.

If this game costs 5$ or even more and if I played its Lite version, I would GLADLY pay for it!! It's so good! Best platformer on iOS IMO! One dollar save isn't worth waiting and not to play this game right now

Having spent the last hour or so in the game in the Great Caves, I will agree with Gabrien on this.
It's a bit of a shame, because the level design in the rest of the game is so brilliant, The Great Caves and it's bewildering teleporting shannigans is a bit of a letdown, and does not live up to the quality level design of the rest of the game.
