While good I would really love to see some replayability added in the form of multiplayer 3G and WiFi. All in all it's a worthy purchase at 99 or 3.99 - you'll definitely get your money's worth.
I still haven't completed the game. I've been enjoying it, though. Once you beat it, is there anything left to do?
I beat the game last night and I thought it was all done but there's a series of red levels that look really hard. B27 was the last level and I see B28 - B36 as red levels.
The red levels end in another final boss. They're pretty hard unless you use the Excalibur + Chaos combo; in which case you become practically immortal
IGN just reviewed Sword & Poker. They gave it a 9.0. An impressive score, and it's well deserved. This game is amazing, I hope there's a sequel. http://wireless.ign.com/articles/107/1073683p1.html
Agreed. Wish I had tried the lite version before today. It's a fun game but I can't see paying $4 for the full version. That said, hats off to the developers for coming up with an original idea and doing a good job with it.
Sword and Poker Question.... Hi guys......I was wondering....to play and be able to enjoy Sword and Poker, do you need to know how to play poker? Because I know nothing about poker lol so I'm not sure if I should pick it up
Actually not. You need to know how to put card to make up pair or straight or flash, etc. Depend what kind combination you make, it will damage the monster HP.
fruho, the game is great! you will catch on with the terms and stuff. should only take you a day or two to memorize all the combinations. but i think you should wait for a sale. the game is fabulous, but im worried that it will drop soon. it has been going back and forth between 4 and 1 dollars since its release and i dont wanna see you blow 3 dollars. in my opinion, it is only worth 3 dollars, MAX!
Exactly my thinking, I think thdevs got greedy with this one, being .99 for a long while (I missed it for a few hours) then adding 3 bucks.. I believe it's great and all but I think they're pushing it...
Wow what a bunch of greedy queers. Making a game with hours and hours of unique and original content for $4. May as well use that four dollars on a sandwich or something that you will love for the hours you're digesting it.
