A more elegant method presents itself... You wanna make us hungry Mr. Madgarden? Mrs. Madgearden should show you what hunger is. A few days of peanut butter sandwiches and ramen noodles should nip that in the bud Edit* OK so Madgarden has distanced himself from the idea. Let him eat cake!
What? I mean, it's not like hordes of us have beaten Legend yet... and hordes of us are sending hordes of hoarding heroes to try... I miss the sword
Omg I just got a fine war shield! What does that do? Also what do drift spells do? I have yet to figure that out
A war shield is just a very good shield. I don't think it 'does' anything. Fine means it's probably at about 100 (full) integrity. If you go into the menu and select 'equip' you can see the shield and how much it's damaged (100 is max, once it hits zero it'll break). Drift spells are to prevent damage from falling into a pit trap. When you hit a pit, you'll notice the icon in the top right change to drift. This gives you a chance to cast it just before you fall (you have to be quick). Also, I believe that having drift on makes the rope less likely to break when you try to climb back up after falling but I'm not 100% sure of it. I always cast it in that situation and it seems to help.
I dont know there is something about that clicking noise they make in this game that would be hard to beat when looking at all those legs. Maybe spookier would be another one of those circle rooms you enter via a secret door with a pedestal or treasure in the middle. You open/take the goody and are blasted by a venom or toxic that makes the whole screen go black and when the screen flashed back to normal you are entirely surrounded by wraiths (my mind is blanking whichever monster is the hooded transparent ghost that causes fear). Something is really wrong with me. I hate hard games and here I am making up scenarios that cant help me win. ;(
I hope there's a way to use a shield+wand of fireballs to be able to kill loads of spiders and not take damage... 'cos I don't wanna be surrounded by a crapload of spiders or whatever. I hate spiders. Filthy creatures.
Sword of Fargoal limited edition dimension spider stuffie is not on your wish list I take it? (mine either)
Only if it's hanging limp and oozing ichor from the mouth of the Sword of Fargoal limited edition fyre drake plush.
No reason not to add these to the game. Make it a sub-goal to collect a figure of every monster before finally ascending. Go hog wild!
Blitz beetle figurine that emits laser pointers in random directions. Option 1:you get unlucky and go blind for 5 seconds. Hopefully not whilst driving. Option 2: You go blind for a real serious length of time. You get to know the feel of your apartment before it wears off. Option 3: Permanent blindness. Better get to know SoF encounters by sound alone or you're boned. If you can even find your phone. Or your apartment.
Hah, funny enough, this is one of the thing is suggested WAY early in the project... got vetoed. But still think it's a cool idea! Collect statuettes to unlock new stuff...
Careful now! The more I beat legend mode the more fired up Paul get's about making it harder. A few wins under my belt and You'll never make it out alive! MUHAHAAHHAHA
