Whee!! I have on question, Paul. In the update, will the Temple-sitting-recovery be going faster? I am really excited about the update, whenever it comes!
Doffie, I have adjusted the healing speed... it is overall faster now. There was actually a bug in the release version, and it made the healing time dependant on the number of monsters in the level, heh. So if you want to heal fast right now, go stir up a bunch of bats. Anyway, healing speed and behaviour has been expanded with some of the new things I've added. In the meantime, drink a potion... 'tis what they're for.
I wasn't even aware that temples could heal you like that. I thought you were only healed if you got lucky with a blessing. I guess it's not hard enough; beat it on my second play through. Hope the update makes it quite a bit harder.
The update, on Legend mode, is HARD. I often die before I get off the first floor. And the enemies do a lot of clever things now that make your life expectancy shorter than average
Can't wait for the update, Sword of Fargoal is one of my favourite purchases! Any chance of a saucelifter sale to help me kill some time until the update is released?
bluewomble88, Yeah I know right! We're an update producing powerhouse. Yeah, I am going to bug the CRAP out of everyone else to make sure we submit this Sunday. A few little issues aside, I'm good to go. goonjamin, haha... sorry man, every time I've done a Saucelifter sale, I usually end up worse off than before.
Hmm...for now the lack of an inventory with different weapons is really the only thing holding me back from picking this up. Would love to see some added weapons or more available character customization.
Shields and wands were confirmed, new magic items are also added and considering the size of the update there might be even more that Paul is leaving for us to find on our own
Hmmm, my brother isn't a very big rpg fan, any idea how to convince him to get this? It looks really good.
We've received plenty of great reviews online, perhaps showing those to him will do the trick? And it's more of a dungeon crawl hack'n'slash than an RPG, really. 100% pure adventure.
Yeah, I know...and I am about 95% sure I will buy this and probably Rogue Touch as well...but I am trying to spread out my purchases. Somewhat unsuccessfully.
It wasn't going to be a dealbreaker. You could make it 10GB and I would still get it at this point... don't think I'm alone in this
W00T! Yup, Elias is preparing builds and testing to make sure they're ready to submit, and I am doing whatever low-risk refinements are left. Hehe! Well the game is about 50MB, so I'm pretty sure the update "patch" is always just the full package.
I might just have to get this... It looks really good! My question is how much replayability is there?
