If I light myself ablaze does that raise or lower my awesomeness stat? cause that would suck for me... but it still sounds awesome.
Heh... good question. Awesomeness is actually based on a variety of things, but being flamed is not one of them (thankfully). It's more a sum total of your awesomeness, not affected by individual events.... however it can *influence* those events.
Have a question, how is this update going to affect my actual game play? I haven't reach it the sword yet (I like to take my time to finish good games) If there is an answer to this sorry but to hard to look into so many pages.
That is a good question. In the update, your current game will still progress, but you won't see any of the new items, traps, or areas because your current dungeon has already been generated. Also, your game will be affected by new dungeon/monster behaviours and gameplay balancing that has been added.
Thanks for the answer Madgarden, now I'm thinking to wait for the update and start over to enjoy full, dont know, Im only level 12...
On level 13 I found a wall entrance that I'm prevented from entering due to a 'mysterious force'. Is there a way I can get past it? As for nonexist - go ahead and keep playing, there's a fair chance you'll die before the update, eh?
Yeah really, the best way to play this game is just to play, die gloriously, and play again. Don't wait around or worry about it... it's a game! Just have fun attempting the quest. Comassion, there's no way to get past the force currently... One thought I had was to "restructure" the existing dungeon during an update, so you would still be playing your game but the dungeon would be recreated around you. Not sure that people would appreciate this though? So currently, I'm not touching the existing dungeons.
Sounds like a Matrix experience. That would be a cool action for the crystals. If you touch one, your surrounding gets instantly and randomly recreated, and you actually see this effect. Shuffling tiles and so on....
Hmm, I could put "dots" in the sword maze, add power "pills" in the corners... crap, what happens if a fyre drake gets a power pill? Must consider this plan further...
I'm more concerned about a Troll getting one. I really don't need something chasing me that can move fast AND bust through walls...
Hmm... a Troll with a frickin' lazur beam attached to it's head. Now THAT's an idea! Oh hey look, what's this place?
I suppose it's a testament to how good this game is, but the frustration of the mage disappearing act has worn off and I'm itching to play through this again. Gonna wait for the update though, as I want all the new goodness
Can someone explain why when I make a brand new game I see a thief sitting there with the sword on level 1? I see this in every new game I make. Is this the way it is supposed to be?
