Clear as mud, worthy of Microsoft Licensing. If it were my app, I'd just release a new one, maybe call it Fargoal 3 or something, but we all know how the iOS crowd gets when someone asks them to pay another three bucks for something they enjoy.

On my phone, I just deleted SoF 1.7 and replaced it with SoFL 1.8, but to see everything, I really will need both. My titties, they are so very sore.

 

No pain, no gain... as they say.

And yeah, maybe we should have released SoF2 as a totally new app, but I guess we'll see what happens now.

Couldn't help but notice that Legends just went universal.

I would ask if that means that Fargoal non-universal's update is in the mail but I don't want to beat a dead horse. I think that is Bluewomble's job.

As a great (and still playing) Fargoal fan, I am really looking forward to the update and all-new-game.
I just can't understand why you make it free instead of an IAP?
Maybe you should make a "donations"-button in the game, so people who appreciate your work can send you 1-2 bucks over via IAP.

 

Fargoal Legends is going universal so you can send them money by buying that one

Nah, since they'll both be universal, it really means nothing beyond the obvious. It's just a gearing up for the release of 2.0. Coming in 2011!!!

A question for the players:

Do you like the darkness of the LEGEND maps? Or do you prefer the lighter look of HERO and SQUIRE? I ask because lighting has more gameplay effect in Fargoal 2, and I want to strike a good visual balance.

 

yeh whats the difference is it worth me buying this aswell (i love SOF) only thing i notice is the nicer tile set will it still get the 2.0 update or will it be different?

 

i prefer it a bit lighter theres more strategy involved then not just pot luck (in some cases)

 

never mind i realize nicer graphics pinch zooming and it will receive the update but is there anything different that will be included? anyway ill probably pick it up because of SOF's awesomeness
