Yes, they increase and decrease the amount you have to swipe for a direction changecto register (larger and smaller arrows for amount). It's helpful if you're trying speedruns in rooms with lots of turning. Setting it to the shortest helps you change directions faster. It also increases the chance of incorrect interpretation of your input, so that's why I made it an option. I didn't want to force the controls to be like that.
Nice one! Ya, I've been quiet. I'm working on a WebGL port and adding some mobile optimizations also so there will be a new version in a while. Apple made me remove the prize code system unfortunately. I guess it breaks some content delivery rules or something. My next game is for desktop, but I have a couple mobile concepts that I may share here soon to see if there's any interest (looking for feedback for input control on one game in particular).
