It was a sunny, peaceful day in the forest, and Little Swingaling hummed to himself as he settled into the rhythmic swinging of branch to branch. ROAARRRRRRRR! An ear-splitting primal hunter's cry shattered the silence, and was joined by the cry of other hunters as well. Monsters burst into view, aiming to eat Little Swingaling, but he smiled, since he had a few tricks for dealing with such creatures up his sleeve...
I thought of that hook champ (i believe its the name i apologize if I am wrong) game when I saw this as well but it appeals to completely different groups of gamers, casual and platformers. Anywho both games look good to me and I am the least wordy creative person ever so I am not even going to attempt this contest most likely.

A jungle full of enemies trying to catch you, but they're no match, no matter how hard they try. You are Swingaling, a born swinger, and master evader. Some foes like Twitch, have gotten obsessed, unable to sleep while desperately trying to catch up to you. Others like Slugston have resorted to mechanical devices for aid, but it's all in vain since you're Slingaling the king of treetops, much to their disdain.
A shot is heard through the jungle. The master swinger, Swingaling, runs to try and get away. The crazed Twitch makes the jungle believe you have brought them trouble, so they will try to kill you as you try to make your escape. They have called in for the aid of Slugston the 3rd and his mechanical genius to try and help their mission, to stop you and restore peace. You must use your swinging skills to escape their clutches and come out of the jungle with a victory.
Twitch screamed. His friends asked him why. SOMEONE HAS STOLEN HIS CRACK!!! He see's swingaling swinging away. He screams out, "GET HIM!". You are the only one who can help swingaling get away with the crack. Are you up for a challenge?
