Wow, that picture's amazing. It's all about the eyes. My favorite pictures are of people's eyes, they can say so much somehow without actually really doing anything. Such an intense look. I think that's why there's such a thing as the uncanny valley, because you just can't digitally replicate the life in someone's eyes. Probably the most famous intense gaze: Some other cool ones:
