yeah, the dev is very active on discord, hearing every suggestion and answering questions. anyway, this game is wonderful, deeper than what it seems at first glance... love to give tasks to other characters, they go to find stuff for you, great feature!!!
Just purchased it with the update already hitting and from all of your comments and it’s always good to know the dev is active. Got a million games to play already but I’m sure I’ll find some time. Sometimes you just fancy a certain thing.
So far the game feels very crude and not very intuitive. Also where can I find coal? Still looking from one of the very first quests.
iPad Pro 11 2020 is showing black bars on the sides making the screen looked squished, hope there is a fix planned for that. Overall not a bad game so far. Spoiler: Screenshot
you can easily craft coal from woodlogs in the furnace... ...but hey, this is not a simple platform game, you must check everything, read recipes and infos, find loot to unlock new recipes... look, i never like Minecraft and all its clones, just loved a little bit Terraria, but i'm not a fan of this kind of games, and yet it seems to me that this is different from the rest, much more affordable and easy to understand, wit a lot of quests and characters out there... honestly, if you can't craft some coal (the easiest recipe in the game!), maybe this game is not for you.
@Gwarmaxx it says I need 2 coal to craft the furnace so I don’t have a furnace to craft any. It’s not that part of the game, I mean I haven’t played any games like this since Crashlands released so I’m a relative noob as I have never played Minecraft or many of this type but recently started on Craft The World which is good. It was more how the controls actually work and how harvest works it just feels very clunky and like it could have been done better.
to craft the furnace you must initially find some coal on the ground, with a pickaxe, you should already have found some. i don't like Craft the World at all (one of the few games i've asked for a refund in 11 years!), and played Crashland a lot back in the day, and this one is easiest than it, less complex imo.
@Gwarmaxx I’ve been mining all the rocks I can find but zero coal from them yet. I had to go fill a chest with stuff I had that much other stuff I didn’t yet need. That’s a shame, I’m on the first level so I can’t say much but other than the small screen it seems good so far. I did love Crashlands I played that a lot.
You Mine coal from the nodes that have the dull dark grey color. The flashier silver nodes are iron. The plain rock looking ones just give you... rock. So don’t even bother with those. You can craft a coal from 10 wood but you lose a ton of energy from chopping trees so it’s not worth it. I find the most coal nodes around my desert biome area. I also found the most gold nodes in the desert. I am getting frustrated now because I have everything to make the synthesizer but I can’t until I have a level 10 smithing I’m not even sure how to raise that level I’m crafting bars at the furnace and making stuff on the anvil but the level has slowly raised to...5 -_-
Are you sure? I still have the app on my device and the AppStore just says "open". It doesn’t give me a price to buy.
Tried to check it, and yep, it’s not in a purchase history. Try not to delete it. Maybe it will return back as it was with Doom & Destiny
