What I mean is when I'm in combat and try to turn around while surrounded my enemies I'm still swinging one way. He doesn't turn with your finger . You have to wait until his entire actions are stopped and then he will turn around after you've been hit so much . I cannot explain how frustrated I am from this. This is a game of the year type game but is severely hurt by this . As much as to say to game of the year to just maybe a runner up game of the week. I'm your biggest fan and would be the biggest gamer for this game. I'll help promote everywhere but I will see how many people are going to hate this. Awesome game otherwise . But the only thing I don't want is the controls. The controls are smooth but the direction when attacking an enemy is not good. Example, when I was running trying to lure them and then want to attack, the direction of the swing of the sword is not on the enemy. Instead, you need to stop your movement and attack first (enough time to let the enemy give you massive hit) then turn around facing the enemy then attack again. I think it is much better if when can run then attack at the back while running. I mean we can control the direction of the swing of the sword just like the other shooting game out there. For example, If the monster is on your left side, you move your right thumb toward the left (i.e. use your right thumb to move the ball inside the circle to the left)in order to swing the sword toward the monster. No need to use the the 'moving control key' to face the monster in order to attack! Or I find them boring as hell lol. But for some reason I do like this one so far. The graphics are great, the enemies fun, and there is a trader where you can buy different weapons and stuff with different abilities. (I just missed the opportunity to buy a killer fire axe 'cause I missed one of those black cubes. Damn! ) You can upgrade your weapons, and you can upgrade abilities like life regeneration. So far I'm doing great, but I can imagine that later on, when the game gets harder, you'd like to have more of those black cubes, which are the ones you can buy for money. As for the controls - I have no clue what went wrong here for some people. The only thing I can imagine is that those people were in the belief of an attack button, so that that the attack direction is determined by your walking direction. But since you can even see the joystick-like nature of that thing ... However, to cut that short: the controls are great! You get the usual twin stick buttons, meaning your right thumb is controlling a joystick too, and you can attack exactly the direction you want to. So, if you ever played any twin stick game, (without auto aim!), you'll come along fine.
