The summer Fields 118 texture is really nice. I wish whoever made it would update it because there are a few things missing. Otherwise it's great.

Oh, and I agree that there need to be monsters in the caves. I'm currently in an extremely deep cave and have yet to see one living thing.

I haven't hooked this up to my pc yet to look at all the files, but I'd imagine it would be fairly easy to extract a downloaded texture pack, modify it, and then copy it back to the game. Maybe I'll mess with this tonight.

Let me know about that because I like making my own textures but I probably would not have the time to make a full texture pack.

I said this before, but I'd prefer just more types animals rather than monsters.

But I would kill to see some kind of Descent-inspired feral human cave dweller creature. They'd only found in caves, would be fast and could cling to walls and ceilings. And they'd rare, so there would be tension about when or if you'd encounter them.

Just the possibility of putting down a torch and seeing a hunched over pale humanoid in the darkness...and then more emerge from the darkness

I'm all for more animals, but I'd be more interested in having some forgotten civilization to discover. So random ghost towns. Between the bears & bulls the world can be fairly dangerous given the limited weapons available.

....I have plenty of giant spiders already :D

Actually, I take that back, one can never have too many. Imagine seeing a group of these silently scale your tower... Sneak attack!

She's a softy, totally happy to let me stroke her. About as scary as a chocolate bar that's just gone past its use by date.

I keep imagining what it would look like if Block Fortress got it together with Survivalcraft (not the act, rather the outcome) I think firearms may be a little too far outside the scope of this back to basics wilderness survival "simulation".

... Got it! Craft of Duty : Block Ops... Build your own multiplayer maps, make stunning corners to camp in and whine about lag compensation until you're blue in the face. Instant winner :)

No seriously, I kinda like the idea however awful it sounds.

EDIT: just brings me back to my biggest want, multiplayer. If Kaalus can get that to work in his app, there would be no end of possibilities... 4 players running about a strange world playing tag, a group of determined builders defending an outpost from a werewolf invasion. Or just a simple cup of tea mode where we can all sit down together in the same landscape and try to enjoy an awful beverage.

Please Kaalus, please, you can have all my money.... (Kinda)

Definitely would like more house accesories
But want the game to remain realistic, no monsters only new animal species

Although I would love to see a Descent-inspired feral human cave dweller creature.

Just the possibility of putting down a torch and seeing a hunched over pale humanoid in the darkness...and then more emerge from the darkness

I'd recommend joined the offical Survivalcraft forum. There's a feature request section, where you can request things
Link is in my SC Content Thread in general discussion

As we're bouncing around all these possibilities , I'm wondering if it would ever be possible to download not just block textures , but whole new biomes and user created worlds that had different themes . Say like someone made a prehistoric version using the game engine , and it had its own predators ( dinosaurs ) duh and foliage and etc . It would probably be way to ambitious to actually come to fruition . I mean the possibilities could be limitless if players could do more than just make new block textures .

Right now I'm just excited to see were kallus takes this thing :)

You guys would laugh if you saw my pitiful little domicile and my claustrophobic maze like mine shaft . Lol

Maybe instead of villages, there could be tribes, with spears and such. They'd be randomly generated, some hostile, some passive unless provoked. They could also vary in size, oh and they had leather tents, something that'd be pretty cool to have :3 oh and maybe there should be an item where you can skin the fur of the dead animals you find and stuff, and maybe if you hit the animal a bunch with the machete, you get a bone chunk, which you can use to make a bone, which you can throw to a wolf to distract him. Maybe there should be an option to throw meat on the floor or grass and the animals eat it. I dunno.

Leather tents and tribes would be cool. Maybe let us determine if they are hostile or not by our actions. If we attack one of them in site of another then they all get hostile, if we offer to trade they get extra friendly. Trading to get items would be cool as would taking on a whole tribe with the intent of raiding their supplies. Stealing would also be considered a hostile act.

Anyway, time tonight is tight for playing. Still I plan to put some time into this before I go to sleep.

Every morning I wake up, there's a wolf pack outside my house. Anyone else experienced this?

(I mean in SC, not real life :) )

Wish I can set fire to burn off the leftover spruce after I've taken all the wood of a tree.

Maybe I'll build a hedge maze.

I'm sure this has been answered, but how does this run on iPod 4g?

I'm playing on iPhone 4. If you set the resolution to medium, it runs smoothly. No lag.

Any packing tips for long underground ventures? Don't have much inventory space. Want space to carry mined ore but also packing picks, spears, a machete, torches, grass to sleep, a chest, furnace, crafting table, food
