That's true. Maybe if you start a world, you can give your guy one ability trait, like becoming a runner  Although maybe those features should be in challenging and cruel only and not in harmless. Like MC, where in Peaceful, your hunger doesn't go down. Also, maybe we could be able to make sacks or backpacks we could equip to hold a little more items and maybe be able to craft sacks we can attach to animals. So that we can transport more faster. Maybe even add some rope so one can pull multiple animals at one time. Oh and maybe add a hunger system for the animals you have as well. E.g. You've used your horse for a long time, and it needs water, you can tell because it slows down, you can be able to feed it with water so that it is hydrated again and if it's hungry it'll move in random directions and you have to feed it, say grass. Oh and maybe being able to tame some animals as well would be cool. Just some ideas.

The community here is pretty efficient at identifying and outing such practices, given the age of this thread and number of positive posts I think we can rule that out with some certainty.

For what it's worth, I've been a member here for many years, and I think this game is fugging marvellous and worth anybody's cash (should block builders float their boat)

Regarding the comment about survival getting harder and the possibility of traits, lol what about persistent upgrades RPG wise where activities such as digging or running, gradually improve the players ability to do so. Eg a behind the scenes +1 to stamina for every mile run...

It's so good to have actual cave systems to find. Digging a mine down from my little mountain cave and I punched through into a large cavern about 20 blocks wide. Had a bunch of paths leading off, all of them stuffed with ore. They are surprisingly extensive, I'm going to have fun exploring them.

Danger lurks down there too, I have an angry bear down one of the passages. I have waterfalls covering a dark passage down another way, with something bouncing around in the darkness (spoiler: it'll be another damn bear). It's going to take me a good hour or two to dig up all these beautiful ores.

But hey, MCPE is adding cake soon. So that's something right? I mean, given a choice between an infinite world size and natural cave systems filled with stuff to dig up ... or cake? Game set and match to SurvivalCraft.

This game is goddamn amazing. No idea what I want to build yet, so just gathering chests of supplies for when inspiration strikes. Man alive though, this really is a very rich Minecraft-like experience but on a mobile device. I can't stress enough how good this is, it's the best $4 you'll spend for a long time.

Just want to give a shout out and a congrats to the developer. Survivalcraft has passed up Minecraft PE in both Top Paid and Top Grossing.

    Pretty cool.

Awesome. Wonder how it will hold up to new releases like Sorcery and Star Command.

Also what's the difference between Top Paid and Top Grossing?

The paid chart is based on sales figures of apps that charge money. Basically it's selling more copies than any other.

Top grossing is how much money an app is making, which includes things like IAP in freemium games etc. Freemium games often dominate this list.

Look at this though. I added the torches, but this is all naturally occurring cave networks under the ground. There's water and lava down here too. These paths go on for ages, you actually get to explore the world like in real Minecraft, and thanks to bears it's a little bit dangerous and terrifying too. I honestly find the thought of there maybe being one bear in the darkness to be as scary as knowing there will be zombies.

    This game delivers in spades.

Edit: I use, and highly recommend, the Dokucraft texture pack.

Top paid apps mean the apps that are bought with money that have been bought the most. Grossing is most income or most downloaded game or something close to that.

Well it's as easy or hard as you want it to be. There's a place where you can find recipes, you can change your mode whenever you want and so on. If you want to ramp up difficulty you could always play cruel mode.

Yes, there is a place if you search for help or in one of the menus or something called a recipedia. You can click any block and it'll give you a description of the block and a crafting recipe if it has one.

I'd almost rcommend Junk Jack instead, unless you want a 3D game - it's jusy much better suited to the touchscreen. See if you like the MCPE trial version controls.

Why are there only four active inventory slots on the screen? Is there a way to get more?

Oh. And is there a way to make a bed or sleep? I don't see one in the recipe book. Actually, for survival I'd rather not have the option to skip the night. I never liked it.

One suggestion. When in the menus get rid of the moving background. It's disorienting and kind of nauseating. Really hard to read with something moving around behind the words.

Also, maybe they could add a higher draw distance option for more powerful devices.

I have questions for regular, long time or knowledged players of survivalcraft,
I would like opinions both good or bad doesnt matter, on this game. Is it worth buying or waiting for a price drop? It seems survivalcraft has alot of stuff is this true? I also heard it has better terrain, caves etc? what about day and night? or enemy's? what ever you guys can tell will help me in my decision if its good to buy this game. I have bought MCPE and am a little annoyed by it. I don't have it on my device anymore. I saw this and wanted to look a little more into it. So tell me all you know, anything you favor most even things that are downers. Anything will be a great help! thanks to all!:):)
