Almost like adding a fresh layer of paint on a familiar genre. I mean, I don't dig the F2P mechanics but it doesn't appear to have timers, at least (still early on for me, so not sure). I do love tower defense, but I prefer fixed path and have never really felt compelled to do the open field style where you have to dictate the paths of the enemies, so I probably won't spend much time with this one, unfortunately. And getting used to only one life is not easy to adjust to, lol. I did notice some issues where I would go to swipe a weapon onto the field and it would end up scrolling around the screen and I'd end up misplacing something, so that sucks when it happens. Otherwise, they've put a lot of features into this game, hope it does well. Wrath Well-Known Member May 26, 2011 480 9 18 Seattle #3 Wrath, May 13, 2017 Okay, have to admit, pretty impressed with what they did here. Quite a bit of variety in types of arena challenges, weapon upgrades, special events, the Twitch implementation, etc. I honestly feel like they have added life to this genre. Really curious as to what some of you other TD enthusiasts think about it.... (I wish I was better at the non-fixed path strategy so I could be more competitive, lol) GalDrogo Well-Known Member Feb 2, 2017 65 0 0 #4 GalDrogo, May 16, 2017 'Survival Arena' trademarked? # yogg sarons cousin Member Feb 9, 2017 9 0 0 #5 yogg sarons cousin, May 17, 2017 "Tower Defense" # ste86uk Well-Known Member May 9, 2012 6,764 990 113 #6 ste86uk, May 18, 2017 For me game insight are far from the best freemium game makers generally they seem pretty greedy but regardless with the feedback I'll give it a look. Wrath Well-Known Member May 26, 2011 480 9 18 Seattle #7 Wrath, May 18, 2017 Agree with you on the Game Insight view. I generally don't buy any of their IAP's. I thought more of the TA tower defense players would be checking out this game and commenting on it. Anyway, mostly I've been checking out the sudden death arena, but it appears the players who have been in the game longer have all the advantage there since they've been able to upgrade their towers and all player levels compete without separation, so the rewards for finishing 1,000th aren't much, lol. I'll just have to keep collecting the free chests and hope for the best. Wrath Well-Known Member May 26, 2011 480 9 18 Seattle #8 Wrath, May 23, 2017 Sweet, an update released that now supposedly groups players for the sudden death arena which means just perhaps I will no longer be finishing ranked somewhere with four-digits.... Wrath Well-Known Member May 26, 2011 480 9 18 Seattle #9 Wrath, Jun 25, 2018 As a TD fan, it was cool to see a Twitch-streamed $10k tournament for this game... need moar TD hype!
