Hey there guys, Awhile back I was introduced to a game called Supremacy 1914 game, which is basically an online risk game. You get a group of people to play, and you're each randomly assigned a country. You then can build factories, troops, harbors, etc. to attack neighboring countries and all that good stuff. What makes it so ideal, is that since we can create social groups here, we can all create alliances, etc. so that we can have allies throughout the game. I'll provide a link for you guys so you can take a look at it, but if five to ten people reply saying they'll play, I'll create a room and invite you all in it once you have made an account (free). It is a long lasting game, however, as the last one took me about four months to complete, and I ended up being destroyed by Russia (of course, I was East Lybia...). Heck, yeah, I'll play. I love RISK. EDIT: I got an account, but I have to do a whole bunch of system updates. Gimme a bit to do it all.
This reminds me of Generals for the iPhone & iPod Touch (one of my favorite games). I'll pass though. thanks!
Is there a friend/clan system? That's the only thing I think that ConquerClub, the website I play on now, is missing. EDIT: I just looked at the site, and wow it looks complicated! I'll check out the tutorials and get back on whether I signed up or not. It's definitely looking positive though.
There is and there isn't a clan system. There ARE alliances and stuff like, but like I mentioned before, the people you are in a game with are the only ones you TRULY interact with. Yeah, they switched the layout to the more complicated one (IMO) in the middle of my last game, and it kinda ticked me off, luckily they still offer the old version (which is less confusing). Also, does anyone here play Cybernations?
I'll give Cybernations a look as well. I'll play any free Risk game, really. Btw, anyone here play ConquerClub? Just curious, since I have an account on there already.
It really isn't a RISK game, it's actually an EXTREMELY intense web-page game. What happens is you get your nation, and with this nation you can collect taxes, pay bills, buy infrastructure, technology, etc. Basically build it up from scratch. The kicker is you can join alliances, and normally these alliances are pretty big. Aforementioned alliances tend to get into wars a lot. So since basically every alliance is linked to another alliance in some way shape or form, they are all dragged into battle sometimes and LARGE SCALE (so large, normal font wouldn't do it justice) warfare goes on.
Wow... Sounds awesome! Time to check this out! What happens when you get tired of the game and decide that you're done? Do you just let your nation die out, or can you hand it off to someone else to rule?
I have a free conquer club account, but I haven't played in awhile. We can play if you are interested. As for this, it looks fun and I'm interested in playing. EDIT: Wow this game is complex, reminds me of the Hearts of Iron series. This is gonna take some time to learn.
Sorry, kinda stopped paying attention to this thread. I'm going to make a room and then we can all play a less-serious practice game, just so you guys can learn the rope. I'll set it up so there'll be 10 day grace period with no warfare vs humans (you can still attack CPU) that way we can build up our armies. I'll start a game after Germany-Spain finish. P.S. Your country is auto-assigned.
I guess I should go ahead and make that account then. Oh yeah, I'm definitely in. Seeing as we're doing a practice round, I can get a taste of the game and go from there.
