And here I am again with some behind the scenes stuff, this time the game's name/logo design, which was kind of a soap opera. Just a quick update (we´ve been really busy with all the Pro Zombie Soccer Android marketing) to say that I just completed all the graphics for the New iPad Retina screen. I have to say this version is the prettiest of all!
Okay...Here goes another behind the scenes little update with a bunch of early concept work for our character, Nina the Witch. Some good news! Supermagical has been nominated for the Gamelab Awards in Spain on three categories: Best Mobile Game (Yay!), Best Sound and Best Art Direction. http://www.gamelab.es/2012/premios/finalistas/ We´ll see how it goes at the end of the month!
Will there be game center multiplayer rather than co-op in the future after the game is released? Or any other game modes planned? This game looks Magical by the way! Great job I love the style of the creatures
Sorry for the late reply...We´ve been in the middle of an office move during the last few days. Yes, there will be Coop and Player VS Player Modes through Game Center and gPumpkin, the new service from Gala Pocket. The game is out in Spain, by the way! We chose to release the game here first just in case there are still minor bugs or little things to correct. It´s a HUGE game and we need to be sure everything works fine before the worldwide release, which is coming soon!
Well, it weights more than 360 megs and packs around 20 hours of gameplay That's the single player mode only.
is this being released soon? i really want to play this game looks killer... whats release date supposed to be? and is it universal? wanna play this on my ipad for sure.
Sorry for taking a while to answer. Yes, it is Universal with iPad Retina support. We are working hard in releasing the game as soon as possible. Believe me we dream about the day you guys have the game in your devices ...haha. Because the Coop Multiplayer is taking a bit too much to make (remember we always do things with the highest quality in mind) and we wanted to release the Coop together with the Single Player Mode on the Worldwide release, we decided it is maybe wiser to release the single player mode first sooner and then release the Coop and PvP Modes as updates later. We are right now adding a new power-up that will take some days to implement and test properly, but after that we´ll send it to Apple for review. I´ll keep the updates on this thread coming!
