For anyone not subscribed to the S:S&S EP teletex bulletins (and why aren't you? they are always cool! go sign up now!) a new one was posted here: http://www.superbrothers.ca/teletex020.html Of particular note from the above mentioned update: "With regards to S:S&S EP, we must regretfully prolong the agonizing anticipation for its release & admit that it will be an 'early 2011' type of thing. The current build is reasonably complete although unevenly polished & it will shortly be undergoing an in-depth analysis by a handful of clever people to ensure that it will be totally awesome. In any case, you can be absolutely confident there will be more concrete news in a subsequent teletex bulletin." Bummer about the delay, but still moving forward! Be sure to check out Jim's "Little Furnace", also included in the above link. Love that song! More of his music can be found on iTunes as well. On a side note (and not really related directly to S:S&S EP) it sounds like Capy just finished up Clash of Heroes HD for the PS3. Cool! Congrats on that Capy!
This game needs graphical updates and fast! With games like Infinity Blade and Shadow Warrior showing what the Iphone is truly capable of, how can your team come out with something so low-res? Okay before anyone gets mad I'm totally joking and I think the pixel art and animation look incredible. I'm just as impressed and excited when I see Sword and Sworcery in motion as I was when I first started playing Infinity Blade. I can't wait till it's released and hopefully it's not too much longer! With regards to Clash of Heroes HD, the characters and animation look sooooo awesome. I'm just not a fan of the puzzle or turn-based rpg genres. I swear I'd pay at least 10 or 15 bucks (hopefully it would be for iphone not psn for portability) for an action rpg using the same characters and monsters from Clash of Heroes HD though!
Haha yeah I knew somebody would start reading and say, "Hey shutup you unappreciative motherf... oh wait he's just joking."
Aside from the 'motherf' part, yeah I was thinking that. lol. Glossy graphics are fun and trust me I love them but the pixel art here has such an artsy appeal and charm to it. I WANT THIS GAME NOW!!!! *are we there yet, are we there yet, are we there yet*
Not sure if this has been touched on or confirmed earlier (apologies if it has), but is this planned to be a universal release, an iPad release first with an iPhone universal update later on, or just two separate platform releases? If it is separate versions, are we looking at any type of differences in content between the two?
There is a new article about S:S&S EP on Pocket Gamer. Not really much in the way of new information, but for those interested: http://tinyurl.com/4dqxxyk
SuperBrothers I was interested in this game, but after watching the video below, I've now brought in to the hype. Looks very promising... http://www.wileywiggins.com/blog/?p=2763
Are we there yet? Things have been strangely quiet on the S:S&S EP front the last few weeks. The last bit I saw was that some voice work was being added, but that was a while ago. Any enlightenment on how the game is coming along Capy Nathan? Updates? Tidbits? Release date goodness?
Thanks for the link, I just watched the presentation and it was really interesting. He's actually a pretty funny guy, and I agree with that site, it's like he's got so many ideas he can hardly keep them in. I'd totally play the Pythagorean Cult game, lol. Or the Garden of Eden game. "They're just standing around thinking about it. Like... "so.... should we do this? Is this gonna be like, some sort of power-up?" Good stuff.
I've followed this title since the beginning, I'm now losing hope that this will actually be released.
