There needs to be a way to cancel a power up after selecting. Sometimes I choose the wrong one, and that just wastes it.
If the interest is there I don't mind putting in the time to set them up and run them, so hopefully yes. Round 1 matches went off without too many dramas, there was some great battles in those and everyone seemed to enjoy it. We just started Round 2 matches. Hoping to make it a semi-regular thing about every other month. Here are some suggestions we've come up with so far for future tournaments: If you use Twitter, you can follow the Tournament at #GoofballCup You can also PM me for details on how you can throw your hat into the mix for the next one.
Ahn the old Magnet Ball - Laser Ball mix up etc. I do that far more often than I'd care to admit! This is a Race Mode issue though right? Surely you're not regularly selecting the wrong powerup in campaigns or Turn Based multiplayer!? If it is Race Mode, I dare say that if you selected the wrong ball and then took time to scratch that and select the correct ball, the hole would be finished for you in any event.
The update is in review. This has "Bug fixes, better replay fast forward & username search to challenge Android users". New courses will be coming in the next update. This info from Noodlecake's twitter. I said new courses in the following update! Yeah! But boo that it's not this update.
Thanks Matt. I got it to catch up eventually. The prob was indeed that I refused to use Game Center when I started playing. Still not quite fond of it, especially since the hacking makes it rather pointless. Still, thanks. Will, see you on the links.
Single Device Multiplayer To The Wizards of Noodlecake, Greetings mighty Noodlers. I am absolutely in love with SSM2. I think I saw one of you guys posting here. I would like to humbly request that, somehow, the functionality to play multiplayer on one device be added to the game. I would gladly pay for this upgrade. My argument for this is outlined below. I have an iPad Mini. When people come to my house after the bar or a party I show them the game and they love it. But we want to play the game together. Yes, the one or two people I know with an iphone could (and have) feasibly buy it. But even if we all have Apple devices it would still be more fun and more communal to pass a single device. The game has a very fast learning curve. Even if relative strangers to the game don't understand the nuances, they can be explained rather fast. This would give a new dimension to Stickman Golf 2. Suddenly anyone with the game can play their friends, family or random homeless at any time - further spreading the gospel of the nitro ball and the light of the laser ball. Finally, I have to imagine this would add a "bored game" effect to the sales. Suddenly people who otherwise ignore mobile gaming will be tempted to buy it as they played it at a friends place a few times. I realize most people under 25 have all but given up on being around others face to face. However, my friends and I (all being around 30) still very much hang out in person. My favorite games have the ability for me to play single device multiplayer, which I do often as you need something to keep the liquor interesting. I do hope you take this into consideration. I would suggest it be a guest player format, where neither bucks nor xp are accrued. Maybe with key gameplay hats and the full queue of balls available. Your Game Center based multiplayer is incredible. I imagine this feature would be a lot lighter to build than that one. Again, I know I would be willing to pay for this upgrade. Sincerely, Scott Blue Ribbon
New update out. And still no retina on iPad. Nice. And of course they update it before May 1 since Apple will stop approving apps not optimized for retina displays at that point. Pathetic.
That still doesn't mean what you think it means. Anyway, the update notes say the next update will be a big one.
Really it doesn't? It's stated very clearly here. As follows. Make Your Apps Look Great on the Retina Display and iPhone 5 March 21, 2013 Starting May 1, new apps and app updates submitted to the App Store must be built for iOS devices with Retina display and iPhone apps must also support the 4-inch display on iPhone 5. Learn about preparing your apps by reviewing the iOS Human Interface Guidelines.
The reason why is that every iPhone and iPad(aside from ipad mini) has been retina for over a year. The question is why wouldn't they? Unless you have bad eyesight non-retina apps look like crap on retina displays. Especially text.
They mean it needs to support retina screens, in the same way 640p Call of Duty games support 1080p TVs.
Yes and its the same way our DVDs scale up to 1080p, thats not the issue. Of course ipad games from 3 years ago display fully on the new iPads, they just look fuzzy. Supporting a retina screen means having retina text/graphics. Apples term retina refers to high pixel density graphics. As this game still doesn't have that on ALL retina devices, that's the issue. So Apple is saying fuzzy graphics and text ARE A NO NO AFTER MAY 1.
Just got a hole in one on hole 3 of Stony land with air brakes and got a huge "fireworks" celebration. Anyone else seen this before? Also, when a turn based notification comes in the slider says "slide to fore". What exactly does that mean?
"fore" is what you yell out when you hit a golf ball that is heading right for a group of people. As in "watch out!" And, no, I don't know why golfers yell that word. "called out as a warning to people in the path of a golf ball"
It's also a boating term meaning moving towards the front or bow of the vessel. So from a golfers perspective, fore seems to refer to the same type of directional bearing from their current position. It would be up to the others around to see if they fall in line of that intended path.
Has anyone installed the update of the game on the iPad 2 iOS 6.1.3? Any data loss issues? I don't want to lose my scores and hard earned bux, level and achievements.
