I completed the Hole in One cheevo by using the Turtle Shell hat to slow down the power meter and the Super Ball powerup. You need to move the aiming arrow up so that the shot just barely misses the floating platform just above you to the right. The power meter will be at about 80% or so. If you get the power right, the shot will land softly on the green and roll in. I tried doing this without the Turtle Shell hat and couldn't quite get the power right, but slowing down the meter helped just enough.
Yes me too. 6 or 7 hats to get and I only have 35 bux now.I have some Hole in One achievements to unlock (I read we can unlock them in the practice mode?) and 1 bux to find in the Castle level to win its Big Bux Award. Won't be enough to unlock the 6 or 7 hats anyway.
Use the blue wizard hat to get the third boost. Launch the nitro ball at full power. One boost when the ball starts to plateau and start to go down, then after it hits the wall, one more, and when that reaches it's peak then the last one. I bumped the angle up a tiny bit (just barely a tap up) from default angle... but I think it would work without changing the angle.
You need to double tap the boost before the man hits the ball (effectively it's a triple tap with the first tap being the hit of the ball).
Woah! I didn't know you could do that! And yes, finally got it - thanks! It took me about 10 (or 20 or...) tries, and when I got it it was a swish. On an unrelated note, I wish when you did a rematch, that the other person got to choose the course. Since there's 9 holes, the person who plays last is also the person who played first (and chose the course). Either that or that they'd gone away from reality a bit and made them an even number of holes.
That's unpossible! Seriously. Give us a hint. I've been able to solve all of your other challenges, but this one is driving me crazy.
Pope Hat, Laser Ball, Air Brakes Ball, Magnet Ball. NEXT! It's hard to get a screenshot near the end because the shot ends so fast but as you can see I'm coming down the ice and am about to hit the second 'Mag!' to get the ball onto the green and hole out.
This one's not too hard. Just got to launch it up to the right at the start, then pull it back down the gap with the magnet, letting go right before it ricochets left. I've been lucky enough to pull it off a few times.
I'm down to 2 hats left. After getting the 3rd to last I see that 244 BUX (I think that was the number) would get a 69.9% chance. Of course I only have 3 and have collected all the BUX on the courses and have most of the achievements. I will plug away at the rest of the achievements, but it's going to take forever to get even the next to last hat, let alone the last one. Gold Crown and Space Helmet are the two I have left to get.
Are the Hole in One achievements unlockable in the Online Multiplayer mode? I did a Hole in One in the hole 4 of Grassy Land but nothing happened.Just curious.
To unlock this achievement you have to do a hole in one without touching the grass.I read here that this achievement wants a huge precision to unlock it.
Did the ball touch the green? If it didn't then you have your answer that they don't work there... but I think you probably did touch the green and that achievement is "Get a hole in one without touching the green on hole 4 of Grassy Land". I would think they would work online since they work from the practice mode as well.... but it's easiest to just do this in practice mode and forget about earning achievements online except those related to multiplayer.
Has anyone calculated what the lowest scores per course are without using BUX to purchase extra shots? For example, I don't believe the above score is possible without spending at least 10 BUX.
Pretty sure I didn't touch the green. I am playing the online multiplayer mode so maybe I will fortuitously unlock achievements in this mode (if we can do so in this mode) but yes I will unlock the hardest hole in one achievements in the pratice mode later.
There's a weird thing in Low Poly Hole 3. If you shoot up towards the bottom of the rock that's right above the hole, the ball will stick. There's no sticky stuff there, though, just rock.
Yes, that is weird. I presume it's a mistake. Either it's not supposed to be sticky, or it's supposed to be pink.
