The Portal stuff is challenging at first but in order to get all the bux and what not, you kind of need to see where each one goes and how best to get to the hole. In the end, I think I have these fairly well memorized. If I had a hard time remembering though I'd just take notes. Haven't put as much time into this as I wanted, but I'm nearly 100% on all of the first 4 Tours. Just one last clean ball award to try for... then to polish off Tour5.
Is anyone else having trouble connecting to he turn based server? The connection seems to be very hit and miss tonight, sometimes it works, and sometimes it doesn't. I'm not sure if its my Internet or a server side problem.
Am I the only person (freak) who prefers not to sync stuff? I've currently got SSG2 on 5 devices and think doing everything 5 times is heaps more fun than once. Gaaa
Anybody been able to complete the final achievement (Green With Envy - Complete hole 4 of Greens Land without hitting the green)? I've wasted a stupid hour on this one, and swear I've gotten it multiple times. I make my way up to the sand trap on the top right, then hit an airbrakes shot over the downshaft. I swear I'm not touching the green at all, yet cannot get the achievement. Anyone have any luck with this? Also, any luck on the hole in one on the 3rd hole of the Impossible course? Using the strong man stache and the super ball I can get on the green in one, but haven't been able to figure out the hole in one shot. Edit: never mind about the last one, got a hole in one there with strong man stache and the nitro ball
I remember when I got it, it was definitely a little fussy. I think I got it a few times as well before it finally gave me credit. Don't give up - it'll eventually give you the achievement.
Jordan is quite the pro on turn-based play! I've learned a few cool hole-in-ones from our 2 matches so far. Lunartic, are you going easy on me because I need cash, or just noobing it up on some holes? Why the afro lol I think I'm happy with a -138 on tour 1. Nathan has far more patience and determination than myself. I'm having difficulty with precision aiming arrow tapping this time around on the sequel. Hole 6 on Sticky Land embodies why the Nitro ball has made completing courses less than enjoyable for me lol
I'd like to blame my poor performance on noobing it up but I'm far too consistently terrible to use that line! The sad truth is I'm just that crap at the moment. As for the Afro, I apparently very often forget to change hats before starting or accepting a match. HAHAhahaaaaaa crap.
Question before I buy can you always keep getting bux for free or do they run out if you spend them all. Also what are all the ways you can get bux?
Help with bux in portal dungeon Someone help! I can't find the last bux in portal dungeon. I've played it 5 times just to try find it but I can't. It's the last bux I need in the whole game.
Is there a way to turn off the syncing? Because my son wants to play from scratch on my wife's phone, but because I sync with iCloud using the same account, it's getting everything synced to it. Would like to turn that off on that phone if it's possible.
There are random events that pop up during a game that allow you to earn a few bux by just completing them. An example would be to get 3 bux for getting par on the current hole. It seems to happen about once per game. So 9 holes each game, one of them should be a special event. It's not a guarantee, but it seems to happen more often on courses where I've already completed the 3 tasks (getting 10 under par or better, finishing the course on par without using power ups, & collecting the 10 bux hidden within the 9 levels). The main thing with the bux is to just pay the price that makes the odds 100% that you'll get a new hat at the prize machine thing. It's easy to get pretty much nearly all of the hats with just the bux earned in game.
I couldn't get that to work...3/4 power put it all the way up into the top bunker. I used the turtle hat and tried every increment of power at standard angle, and no go. Edit: This is just BS, I give up on this one. I just used a laser shot up to the top bunker to make absolute sure I didn't touch the green, then used freakin sticky airbrakes (granny hair) to drop the next shot right down the hole. The ball didn't stick till it was half-way down the hole, which is proof it never hit the green up top. This is ridiculous.
I got that one with the air brakes ball. You don't have to hole in one it, I don't believe. It took probably 10 or 15 tries, but I finally got it.
