More than 4 million planets to discover! Full 3D universe. Fly your starship to any part of the galaxy and to any planet. MASSIVE planets with terrain - fly down through the planet atmosphere and see the detailed terrain. Planets can have oceans with animated water and water reflections. Solar systems are HUGE - because of the size there is a time-scale (up to 100x) that is automatically applied so you can fly from planet to planet very quickly and you can turn off the time-scale if you want to fly in real-time (can take HOURS to reach a planet though). Collect beacons on the planet surface by flying through the beams. Beacons offer missions, points, credits, minerals and possibly fuel. Collect all beacons on a planet for extra points/credits. Starbases you own make profits. Dock with your starbases and collect the profits to increase your wealth. Colonize planets and build a fleet to invade and take over other colonized planets. Build an empire! You like No Man's Sky? Well, this is not that, but it is inspired by it. NO PIRATES! This is a mission of peace to map the galaxy for habitable planets to be colonized. Fly to any star you see in your view and explore its solar system without worrying about being attacked. Persistent universe. All discovered stars and planets are cataloged on the galactic server and remembered. Come back in days, weeks, months to see how the universe has changed. Other captains will see your discovered stars and you will see theirs. Your mission as starship captain is to explore and map the galaxy for the IGDB (Intergalactic Database). Use your local and galaxy map to help you accomplish your mission or just fly by the seat of your pants. Your ranking is based on how many stars and planets you discover. Habitable planets are worth more points. Planets with intelligent or advanced life are worth even more points. Multiple Game Center leaderboards "Just give me a starship and stars to steer her by" - 2021 Les Bird Information Seller:Les Bird Genre:Adventure, Simulation Release:Mar 17, 2021 Updated:May 11, 2022 Version:4.0 Size:486.5 MB TouchArcade Rating:Unrated User Rating:Unrated Your Rating:unrated Compatibility:HD Universal Super Starship is a space exploration game with a massive persistent universe inspired by the game No Man's Sky. The universe consists of 900,000 stars in 9 quadrants (100,000 stars per quadrant). You can pilot your starship to any star you see, claim it and explore its solar system. There are more than 4 million planets to discover. The entire universe is persistent powered by a PHP/MySQL backend server. Any star claimed by one pilot is visible to all other pilots in realtime and will remain claimed by the original owner forever. The game supports multiplayer mode using PUN2+ servers globally - explore with your friends! Your mission as starship captain is to scan and discover habitable planets for future colonization. Some planets may contain intelligent or advanced lifeforms which are worth more points. Some star systems have star bases which, when docked with, can be used to refuel or upgrade your ship. This is also where you upload your scanned planet data to get credits (for upgrades/fuel). Cloak your ship for privacy - no other players can see you. Nearly 50 missions (side quests) to complete. There are multiple Game Center leaderboards. The game supports compatible game controllers (Xbox, MFi, etc), or you can just fly by using onscreen controls (swipes and sliders). 60 FPS on iPhone 7 Plus and newer devices. Also tested and runs on iPhone 6 (not the 6s) so 6s owners should have no issues. Just launch and play, no special logins required. Game Center ID is used as in-game name. Enjoy some screenshots... Curious how do you envision transitions to/from star systems to work? Personally I kind of liked the zoom in to the star and see the solar system then zoom out when you leave it but I'd like to hear some other ideas. I like the view of the 3D model of the ship idea, I'll find a place to add that - probably when docked with a star base. Buying new ships is on my list of features to add. -Les Truncana likes this. So all I do is driving around and scanning systems and planets? The engine is nice and competent and I like the planet models but I guess as a game I expected a bit more, like maybe the planets with intelligent life can generate missions for you to take on, even if those are UPS like delivery missions that help them develop and integrate into the federation, maybe there could be a story mode even if it is as cliche as “follow your father and save the universe” or something. Maybe the planets can have semi randomly generated collectibles, ancient relics and artifacts and snippets of story that give idea to the civilizations that came and died. Maybe there could be unique, big structures for you to discover. I dunno. The universe feels lonely and dead. Maybe that is how it should feel like but I don’t think there is a sense of wonder and discovery as I go around scanning stuff. Lesbird and Truncana like this. What would you like to see as far as ship upgrades go? You can already upgrade your fuel capacity and warp/impulse speeds. Are you thinking to buy new ships for their style/looks or for their feature upgrades? In No Man's Sky ship upgrades are useful because you can increase the capacity of the minerals you mine on planets, so it's very useful to buy/sell ships in that game. My game doesn't really have those restrictions/features though so not sure what the benefit would be to buy/sell ships.
