We actually used to work at Halfbrick, so we're very familiar with Jetpack Joyride, and I agree, the mission system in it was great. We will be adding lots more features and content in the coming weeks and months. Definitely a mission system (a bit different to JJ, but I think it should be fun), and hopefully some achievements and other objectives too. I originally planned for 3 powerups in the game, so we'll try to get those done and we'll be adding more zones for sure. Right now, we're working on the first update which fixes lots of small bugs we've found. We also improved performance to get rid of any frame hits and we're adding some new Starfish and Starplants. Thanks again for the feedback, and glad you like the game. Wicked8146 likes this. We are super stoked! Thanks for the feedback, everyone! A mission system was actually the top major feature on our backlog that didn't quite make it into the launch build. So I am pretty sure we'll be starting work on that as soon as all the initial launch crises are under control... jared9876, Delusionaltool and Anotherkellydown like this. Specifically, there was another beautiful game about flying through spectacular spacescapes of planets, comets and asteroids as a whimsical creature collecting images - Kometen. This is like a spiritual successor in my gut. I love it. It’s funny, the revenue model checks every box for things I typically avoid- freemium with ads and IAP for multiple types of in game currency, and somehow stands as an example that said games can be fun. I do the ads for currency, but will buy some in game as well because I really hope this game succeeds. It’s the kind of freemium that you usually get in a premium game that was converted from freemium but not quite fully, and almost seems too fair. protostarMatt Active Member Sep 18, 2014 37 1 8 #18 protostarMatt, Aug 9, 2018 Thanks Baron! Making freemium games is a hard line to walk... there's no doubt. If I thought we could sustain our company with paid games, we'd definitely prefer that option, but it just doesn't seem feasible right now. Thanks for the support and I'll have to check out that other game you mentioned.
