Currently you can play as three people Jakob, Tara, and Mort also a bunch of hats for you to collect, some only exclusively for that certain character
As a beta tester for this game, I can guarantee it will be great! Use Hook Champ as training ground though, your true skills as hookers will be tested I'll be watching this thread, so if you have questions, I'd be happy to answer!
The weekly updates sound great! As I said before, Hook Champ is still on my Touch and I play it regularly. I think Super Quickhook will be even better! Come on Apple!!

Hello, beta testers. Oh, way more than 4 updates are planned. After update 4, we have some huge secret thing in mind. I'm really pleased by how Super QuickHook (Super Quick Hook? Super Quickhook? I really need to stick to one title) turned out. It's superior to Hook Champ, and Hook Champ already turned out pretty good. Oh, by the way, Hook Champ update is coming on the same day SQH is released.
I've only tried the lite for Hook Champ. I'm gonna just go for Super Quickhook. If I'm only going to splash out on one of them, is that a good choice?
If you can only get one, I'd get Super QuickHook. It's going to get more frequent updates by far, due to a more modular framework. Also, it has an endless random mode, something we could never get to work for Hook Champ.
Yeah, it's a lot more fun than Hook Champ, and will have more content. (I'm a tester) However, if it was me, I'd get both, Hook Champ in the meantime, which is incredibly fun in its own right, and Super QuickHook when it comes out. While SQH is better, both still blow away other games. Even after getting SQH, Hook Champ would still be a great deal.
It's officially "Super QuickHook". We didn't name it Hook Champ 2 or anything because of Twitter. Do a search for Hook Champ sometimes. Do that search during football season.

I've had the honor to beta test this game. Really looking forward to what the community here thinks of it. Personally I think it's become great. Hook Champ was already one of my favorite game but Super QuickHook (SQH) improves on pretty much every area.
Seconded. Super QuickHook does include and improve on most everything that makes Hook Champ great, while adding new gameplay mechanics, a real sense of speed, an endless random mode, and explorin' secrets. And gnomes. I can't imagine anyone who appreciated Hook Champ not loving SQH.
Thirded. (?) I really like the 'feel' of the hooking better. I've gone back and played some of Hook Champ. It doesn't feel nearly as fluid as SQH's. Kinda floaty...? I'm not sure what it is. It's just odd is all I know. Both are great games, but I think if you start with SQH and go BACK, you'd be disappointed. I'm not saying that as a negative to Hook Champ. I still think that is one of my favorite iPhone games... It's is a good thing, it shows Rocketcat has improved the game. Plus, added a bunch of content too. I can't wait for approval!
