Hi, First post on here but have been a regular viewer. I bought Super Quickhook after reading all the rave reviews. I can't even get to the 5 coins on the 1st level. Am I doing something wrong?
lol you have to buy more rocket boots that you can rocket jump 2x then you can take them and later rocket jump a second time... or don't you see the coins?
This is normal, you can't get there on your first time though. Come back later when you have 2x rocketboots.
Game Impressions Hi Kepa, game is great and all but I really want to ask you this one little question. When will I be able to play this game? I bought it on day 1 and I can't do SHIT thanks to this WONDERFUL LAG in a timing/jumping game. I've got an ipod 3g 8gb (2g). How about a fix before this super amazing extra incredible third update that will really take a while? Me and a couple of other people on this forum would really like to play your game, which we bought on day 1. So how about it, would a small patch, little focus on this bug instead of new content which we can't play be too much to ask? People suggesting reainstalling the app or restarting your ipod, please be quiet. You have no idea what kind of a problem this is. ps. sorry for coming out as rude, but this game is really something incredible. And the fact that it's just sitting untouched on my ipod is rather annoying
+1 to that. I'm sick of developers shoving in content without making the game perform better.. PD for example. They keep putting out new stuff, but the performance and the animations are crap... Also, I wish I could play the new updated content, but my internet connection is so slow i would take about 2 hours to download Thankfully it picks up speed in precisely 1h 48min
Kepa, what kind of drugs were you on when you made those new levels?! I'm failing at Ruins Entry! I'm genuinely scared of what the Nightmare level will be like...
I didn't like the new levels from the last update, the acids and mushrooms turned me off the game a little.. Either way, superb game.. EDIT:: the new ones are much better as there not completely filled with Acid and Mushrooms
Kepa has stated multiple times that if you have issues with the game lagging to contact his support line, Though its general knowledge that if the game is really laggy, 1. Delete, Reinstall 2. Do you have a jailbroken iPod? 3. Turn the animations to the lowest setting. Your angry that the developer is not fixing the lag? And you want him to stop what he is doing, even though he had atleast 4 updates planned even before the game was released, I'm sure he can put a hotpatch out to fix some of those problems, but to get mad at him for putting out updates that provide new content for everyone, is a little overkill. But do you honestly think that Kepa doesn't care about his customers?
I noticed you quoted my post. I should have made myself clearer. I was agreeing in general that developers should make sure the game is good performance wise before releasing etc, example pocket devil, they chuck in heaps of content but the animations are terrible. By no means was I directing it at Kepa as I respect hi for making such great games which I thoroughly enjoy. The fact he's releasing all these free updates is amazing.
I mentioned this before but don't think anyone else seemed to comment on the issue, maybe I'm the only one but I doubt it. The game crashes tons just randomly when I'm buying things in the shop. It usually only happens when I buy 3 or more items in one visit. Very annoying. Aside from that still loving the game and love the free updates with new levels.
Purple Great job with fixing the bugs kepa! Lag free for me, I've noticed that you throw in more of the color purple for the harder levels. Like the nightmare levels in hook champ. Any reason for that? Gotta say these latest levels were the best and kept me more entertained. It seemed a little more "blocky" than the others but it was still awesome. Can't wait for the next update.
