You do realize that the developers lose time and money when they update their game right? And they are being very kind and giving us around 3 steady updates so quickly after the games release and then one big 4th update, and then slower updates after that.... They don't have to update their game at all, but Rocketcat Games, is one of the few developers out there that love their fanbase, and I think .99$ here or there for a few characters that you DON'T HAVE TO BUY, is not that much, money.... Surely you atleast spend 3-4$ on fast food or Starbucks during the week...
It's updated, but it takes awhile to kick in. Anyone else that lost their day 1 hats, email support. Update 3 will have some 99 cent DLC. It will also have a couple new free (ingame store coins) characters.
Yeah the 3000 gold hooks were such a grind, that I gave up on Hook Champ altogether. I did run out of anything that I'd ever wish to buy in SQH now though, so I am definitely looking forward to more/more expensive items! And characters!
I could easily afford all the 3k hooks in Hook Champ. If you try to get a top score on even just one level (probably a beginning one), you will make enough money to buy the hooks, and it's fun along the way. I guess if you are already very good you might be able to get a top score before you can afford the hooks, but then you can just try a different level. Edit: I think I may even have had one of the hooks before trying to get a top score, and I know I didn't grind any levels (although it took me a while to beat some of them).
Are there new hats and hooks in the update? I love hats And hooks! I bought this game the first day it came out. I'm gonna guess the fourth update has a 1000 hooks and hats. Or maybe a 1000 different levels.
Dear Kepa, Will we be getting a Pizza Roll hat and/or Pizza Roll shaped grappling hook with stretchy cheese as the rope? Or has your Pizza Roll lust subsided in favor of something new? Seems like this is something everyone should know, but what is UDID and where can I find mine? Have been a huge fan since HC and haven't put down SQH since it's release day. Awesome awesome game!
Four new (and excruciatingly difficult) levels. New hats and hooks unlocked from these levels, and of course a new secret to find in each, with achievements for the secrets. Also a tweak to the acid in the fungus levels; you can now be in the acid for .8 seconds, up from .5
Plug your iPod or iPhone in and open iTunes. Select your device on the list on the left. You should see a few fields in the info box: Name, Capacity, Software version, Serial Number and Phone number (if it's an iPhone). Click on the serial number and it'll change into a field labeled "Identifier (UDID)." That's your UDID, or Unique Device IDentifier. At this point you can hit ctrl+c or command+c and it'll copy your UDID to the clipboard for easy pasting.
There are also a ton of UDID helper - type apps that you can download and use to email the UDID to yourself (or someone else.)
