I beat your score on Icicle Cliffs! Only by 0.4 miliseconds though, you can probably get #5 back. But still, YES MY FIRST PLAT!

Just collect all the coins. Getting 50 coins will give you another 2000 points (40 points per coin) so it helps a lot.

There isn't anything yet, aside from achievements and platinum medals on the level select screen.

Just keep your cool. There's never a point at which the avalanche moves faster than you do at max speed, so just maintain your speed, and rocketboot immediately if you ever make a mistake. If you have the snorkel upgrade, you can even keep swinging/rocketing while inside the avalanche, so you can try to get back out. It's not easy though. And yeah, learning the locations of coins helps immensely as well.

Easier said than done. You just have to luckily be in the right place to get the coins, no?

I can't find 5 coins on burn alley. I know others have had this problem. Anyone know where the really hard to find coins are?

can we have a leaderboard, perhaps just in OF, which has TOTAL points? like your highscores from all the levels added up? would be interesting to see that one.

there is a part where there are 2 stalagtite/mites pointing towards each other, next to a vent

    like:

    ......V...

    ..........^...../!\

    v/^= rock formations
    /!\ =vent
    .... ground/lava

if you rocketboot instead of hitting the vent, there is a hidden area with 5 coins

Tip: for avalanche, when you come across walls hook always right above you and let make full swings (so that you don't have to swing much)

    ---------v---------v---------v--------v---------------
    .......l............ll..............lll............ll..............l
    ----------------------------------------------------

    l : wall

v: hook here right above your guy

Are 'full swings' the best, and fastest way, to move forward? I haven't experimented much but always assumed you have highest forward velocity at the lowest point of the swing so this is the best release point. I certainly have trouble staying ahead of the avalanche, evening without contacting floors or ceilings or missing a swing, just don't seem to be moving fast enough the way I do it, able to beat 90% of local dev scores though so can't be that far off. Looking forward to seeing videos of others doing it.

Well, not sure which swings are the best, but I try to keep the projectory more straight, which as far as I can tell makes it faster.

I don't think letting go at the very bottom is the very best idea. Remember you have to stay close enough to the ceiling to hook again. While it makes the most sense physics-wise. I think you should let go when you're slightly past the lowest point.

Yeah what I think is the best is let go on your way up and then hook again as you start to descend. This way you get a nice flow

There's no big reward for getting all the secrets yet, but update 3 will add a lot of rewards for achievement/secret hunters.
