I am curious about the next endless mode. Will it be similar to the avalanche mode and have a chaser? If it does will it be the same avalanche, or maybe something different?

I am actually hoping it won't have a chaser at all, and instead the sections would just have lot's of lava, bottomless areas, and difficult swings like regular nightmare levels, probably difficult to actually make this a constant challange though that couldn't be mastered completely...

Also a question, is it possible to make levels that go up as opposed to left to right?

Lava/Ash Wall of Death, tons of death traps except in the more casual by comparison lava section, more coins in the harder sections, about 30 seconds before the death wall goes to full speed.

It is. Expect some zigzaggy levels in Update 2.

I'm still confused by what you mean by the first part about sliding and rocket jumping. When I see stalactites, I go on to the ground? Stalagmites, I jump into the air?

I'm just a little confused still, is all

They're indicators for when you should go up or down. Stalagmites are a good indication that you should hit the rocket boots, as there are coins, or a passage, or something you should hook onto above you. Stalactites indicate that there is something beneath you: coins, a passage (with coins), a steam vent, or a spot where you may want to slide.

Basically use those as an indication to the path you should travel to find all of the coins and best possible path through a level.

Spork just made my life tons easier, so thanks spork! Now finding coins is waaaay easier :D

Nice details to add to the game, so great job there Kepa.

I, on the other side, find the dev scores from HC way harder, mostly because the money there was harder to get so I didnt have a fully upgraded character.

Dev scores here are easier to beat, 1-3 runs to get every coin, then 1-3 to speed run that, simple :|

I was about to post this. Wow. Once you get this high you get a lot of momentum, this could be the next Fruit Ninja, or, dare I say it, the next Angry Birds...

    No. Just no.

But hopefully it does become one of the apps that basically won't leave the top five. If Doodle Jump, Angry Birds, and Fruit Ninja can get it; then SQH also deserves it.

Breaking into the top 3 is going to be extremely difficult as those apps are .99 cents and have unholy levels of advertising and support from their gigantic customer base.

I think for the time being #4 is going to be our highest peak. Not that it's a bad thing, though! We'll see how it plays out through the weekend.

Yea this is very true. But still I think that if things keep going steady a top 10 spot might be guaranteed!

You beat EA though that's an accomplishment.

I never understood what was so great about Pocket God...unless I misunderstood and you are saying it won't be the next Pocket God because this game doesn't suck, I completely disagree with you. Pocket God is just, unappealing to me.

I mean the next Pocket God as in duration on the Top Paid list or how many updates it will have, not gameplay.

And Pocket God is not that bad, and even though you might not like it, it is an App Store classic.

I'd really like to see this become the next Doodle Jump/Fruit Ninja or the like, because this is undoubtedly the best, most addictive endless game on the App Store...

Unfortunately, I don't see that happening, only due to its price point. A solid majority of the App Store userbase seem to think anything more than a buck is outrageous. Really, it's nearly a crime to sell SQH for only three bucks... That being said, however, SQH can probably top the highest grossing list.
