Well, graphics are good, but yeah, controls are really bad. But it is not imposible to advance through the levels, you just have to be very patient. But is very funny anyways, just a little pricey for me.

    Rapture. It sucks.
You have to get used to the controls but once you do it's not bad.

I like the game, the only problem I have with the controls is that you can't play in any position you want but you get used to the controls pretty quickly

controls are perfect. don't listen to negative feedbacks.
if you are smart enough, you'll learn how to move the monkey so soon.

    wicked.

it's probably one of the best values in the App store... i recommend it! If it came out now, people would be all over it

The game is really very very good. Some people struggled with the controls, and even tho there was still some complaining afterwards, the update definitely helped a lot. It's still (I've owned it since July 10th) one of the best games in the app store.

hell, controls were fine in v 1.0. beat the whole gaem on it. Then the crappy update had to go and delete all my levels, so i dont play it as much now. Definitely worth however much it is at right now

Monkey Ball is one of my favorite games on the App Store, the controls are great. You just have to remember that you're moving the stage, not the monkey.

This was one of my first apps that I bought and I hated it after I couldn't even beat the first six levels. So I deleted it and didn't play it for a few months. About two weeks ago I decided to give it another shot and I started getting the hang of the controls. Now I play the game periodically (it's still pretty hard, but I am used to the controls now), and I think it's worth it.

It's lots of fun, just don't give up and try not to get frustrated because you'll get the hang of it quickly. :)

As along as you're patient, the controls are no problem. People used to have trouble figuring out the controls, but now that there's a mandatory (I'm pretty sure) practice session, you'll be playing like a pro in no time :D.

It's actually quite easy on day 2 of playing. I can complete the whole thing in 45 minutes now, but overall it has lasted me a very long time. Controls are perfect, they really can't be improved any more. Just take your time and you will figure it out.

    It's A Hall Of Fame Game but. . .

    could be improved very easily
EA could update to allow each level to be unlocked once you beat it
    it's not monkey science
its the way almost all games work
it's the way we like it

as it is if you don't get through a level with all your monkey lives
you have to repeat all the levels up to that level in a world
this can be a real pain in the monkeybum

if each level was unlocked as you played it
it would still mean solving all ten levels to unlock the next world
and all bananas to unlock bonus levels
so plenty of worthwhile challenge remains

while opening up lots more levels and lots more fun to casual gamers
who don't want to feel punished through repetition
(Rebel Assault could do with this too!)

I agree with you for Rebel Onslaught... and I would for Super Monkey Ball except...

For every 10 stages you get 25 lives!

Yeah, to be honest it's the only game out there that feel's like a console game. There's just something about it that makes my iPhone feel like a DS/psp
