I've not killed one by bouncing but if you have the invincible star you can wipe them out by running into them.
I've got all the pink stars on all worlds now, the special course was a nice surprise and look forward to playing the others when I purple and black coin the levels. Got my second rainbow bridge last night, have three bonus game houses and two question block things. I'm playing mostly with peach, her moves feel most intuitive to me for some reason, I think it's not being able to hold the physical button to make run sprint that makes me not choose him so much. I haven't mastered yoshi yet but do have him unlocked.
Great fun this is, for me too, got all minigame houses and blocks as well and you earn enough tickets this way so normally you never run out of them. Liking the toad races more and more now.
If it makes you feel better I did the exact same thing. I was raging that I wasn't getting my second bridge until my kids scrolled down
This is how I game this awesome game, gaming this way makes it even more awesome and for me the most comfy Mario I ever played Ha Ha. You must look at it while you are laying down makes more sense.
Ok. I think we noticed something about the extra characters that may be strange. I have Toad, Peach and Yoshi, and it seems they cannot use mushrooms to avoid dying when they get hit. Mario gets bigger and can take a hit, the other characters cannot. Anyone else notice this and do we think it is a glitch? Edit: Just saw growing when eating a mushroom is Nario's special ability. Ok - good to know I *don't* have that with other characters.
Hey guys, back again I found a bug, or at least MIGHT be a bug or intended. So the pipes are usually 100 toads = small pipe and 150 toads = tall pipe. The yellow pipe however, the tall one is 100 and short is 150. Report to Nintendo please, or explain why cause I don't get it XD EDIT: it's the same way with the purple pipe.
Luigi also grows with mushrooms. Since he jumps higher, I have to try going behind the pipe which is at the exit of the ghost house (the one which you come out from), to see if there's a secret section. Super Mario World had a lot of those I'm really enjoying this game. I've already finished the main story and unlocked all the characters. I still have many things to do though, and I can assure you that with the special blocks, I'm getting many more tickets than what I'm capable of accumulating. I had 83 and the big "?" block gave me 50 tickets, but as it's already been mentioned, the limit is 99. I think the idea behind the tickets is that you play the minigames and the other modes too. In any case, it's well worth the 10 I paid.
Just collected all pink coins, unlocked the pink pipe that gave me an extra level which is super challenging, and even this bonus level has got the 3 coin collect stages. Pretty neat, so with also a purple and a black bonus level, 3 more lengthy levels to go. Nice surprise.
